Literally a week before all this new Psychonauts/Doublefine hype, I was inspired to break out Psychonauts for some quality fun. Then, the rights were reclaimed and everything was right with the universe, and people flocked to buy the amazing game. So, what was your favorite part in the game? The memorable quotes? The Milkman Conspiracy? Running around Whispering Rock and hearing all the interesting stories? I, for one, can't get enough of the in-depth gameplay and story, and I just finished replaying it today, for the third time in two weeks.

The entire fucking game! =D.

Well, I'd be lying if I say that the game doesn't have it's slow parts, the parts I wasn't a fan of were the hub areas of the camp and the asylum, but when I'm in the mind of someone, then lots of fun ensues.

By far, my favorite part was that of the mutant fish, where you are a monster in his mind.

Granted, it's been a while since the last time I played Psychonauts, maybe it's time for another playthrough.

My favorite part was going into the female camp counselor's head. It's not as weird or funny as Milkman, but the gameplay was fun to me.

I never beat it to be honest but I loved the part where you're a giant monster terrorizing a city. I need to get back into that game before my sister gets the Xbox back...

I can listen to any phone conversations I wish, but do not do so out of my sense of professional responsibility.

The Meat Circus.

I didn't find it brutally difficult myself, and it's the closest we've ever gotten to "pure mindscrewery" in gaming, mostly because there's not much subtlety to it. Just a giant aerial circus made of steak with bunnies being ground into monsters and knife-throwers with their everything sewed to everything and a small child running through it all while screaming "BUNNNNNNYYYYYY" and a ghost jumping out of nowhere over and over while howling your name.

Well...the initial level in the sergeant or whatever he is's head was a revelation...and my mind boggled at the directions the game could take, but the milkman conspiracy was unrivaled. In fact, the milkman conspiracy is one of the single greatest gaming experiences I have had in my entire life. I dont think I'll ever forget it. 10000000000000000000/10.

I'm still playing through it after buying it at GOG several months ago. Up to the theatre part so far.

I cannot pick a favourite part so far though - it's just so good! While I probably wouldn't call it my favourite, the milkman conspiracy is probably the most memorable.

Hm...I guess I had the most fun just running around the camp, doing the scavenger hunts and stuff. It was a lot of fun once you got all of your powers. Flying around the camp, setting squirrels on fire...ah, the memories! The Milkman Conspiracy was a close second as far as experience, though. There was just so much there, you know? Lots to explore.

Though I think my favorite looking level in general was Black Velvetopia. It was just so awesome~

Linda the Lungfish. Although my absolute favorite part would be Dogan Boole and his hat.

All of it. Just all of it. Well, not the meat circus. That stupid kid...

But if I had to pick a specific part then definitely the Milkman Conspiracy. Every single line was comedy gold.

And what's this about some recent happenings re: Psychonauts? I seem to have missed it completely.

I really liked climbing the asylum tower. The way gravity and geometry warps more and more as you go higher is a fan-fucking-tastic piece of design.

All of it of course!
I love the Milkman Conspiracy and Lungfishopolis of course so I'll mention a different level.
I thought the Napoleon level was genius and also THAT room in the disco level. You know the one.

You know that bit at the end that you never reached because of the Meat Circus? That was pretty good.

Sorry. My serious answer would be the Milkman Conspiracy.

My favourite bit was when my save got corrupted and I had to start again. :D

Oh, wait no, the other thing.

What I got to play of it was fun though.

That was pretty cool, except the rats. God I hated those rats.

Honestly my favorite part is the characters, especially Sasha and Milla. I want a game all about them!

I love the characters. My favorite part is that I liked the female lead so much. Lily is the best female lead I've seen in a game and cheered during the final video.
