Everyone has a form of gamer "crack", mine was Kid Icarus for NES. My parents told me to be in bed by 8:30pm but never checked on me until about 1am when my stepmother came home (she was a flight attendant) and found me up still playing (3rd boss fight!!!).
Anyway, what was yours?

I don't remember my first, but the earliest I can remember was Link to the Past. But I was like...5? <.< I didn't really have much of a concept of time to begin with. Past that there's quite a few games that have done that to me.

Insane marathons of Pokemon Blue version...
I tend to focus in on whatever I'm doing, to an extreme level when I was younger. If I was playing that thing, my parents could talk to me for half an hour and I'd never even know they were in the room.

Hmm...I'm fairly certain it was Kirby's Dreamland for the NES. I can't count the number of times I beat the hell out of Metaknight.

KoTOR. It was the first game where I really lost track of the world around me. I'd be happily blasting away at sith troopers, then realise I hadn't taken a piss in 7-9 hours.

Fallout 3 is the closest I have got to loosing track of time in a game.

But it is so easy for me to use up hours of my day reading Artemis Fowl books on my iPhone!

GTAIV. Mind you it was the first game (& and game system: the 360) that I had since I gave up my nintendo way back before college (yup, old guy). Over 100 hours (both times i played it through) mostly between 9pm & 3-4am. Then out of the house for work by 6am. So Sad...

The very first Warlords. Once, I played that game pretty much from the time I got up to the time I went to bed, at least sixteen hours later.

Probably Pokemon Red I dumped so much time into that game as a child and never even realized it.
