I received a Sega master system on my 5th birthday. I don't remember whether it was like this with all of them but mine had an inbuilt game, Alex the Kid. I bloody loved that thing.

A PC(belonging to my parents) was my first.

After that was the n64, I must've been around 8 at the time. I got snowboard kids and ocarina of time. It was great.

But I always come back to my PC. <3

I'm 21.

17, and mine was the original xbox. I waited so long for that, and used it so much, it's sad that it just sits in a closet now :(

I had a N64 growing up (still do) but it wasn't and isn't mine. But I helped my two older brothers buy a ps2, but I paid like $20 and I was 7 or 8 at the time, so I didn't have much. But when the 360 came out and I was 11, My one older brother (oldest moved out by then) we spen 200 each on the 360. Then shortly later I bought a Nintendo ds, and got a wii for Christmas still 11 or was I 12. Flash forward to today I'm 16 I have a job and own a 3ds. Waiting for the WiiU, and gonna get the starwars 360 when it comes out.

I'm 17 it was a Playstation One I acquired 11 years ago at age 6. I actually didn't know much about games at the time and after witnessing my friend's N64 I told my parents I wanted "a video game" and so my dad got me a PS1 because my uncle had it. I still have my first game ever Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and it still works. I still play it from time to time in fact.

16, Gameboy Colour. Pokemon is still awesome.

It's kind of interesting to see what consoles people through. Like I went Gameboy>Game Cube>Xbox>Xbox 360>PC.

Im 20 and the first console I played was called the Silver star, i think. I cant find any reference on google to it. It was one of those old plug and play tv ones that only had a set number of games. Couldnt add any more or anything.

I'm 21 and, despite it being past its time, my first console was the NES. It was handed down to me from my mom and I really enjoyed Contra, Super Mario Bros. and Kid Icarus the most despite the fact that I never once beat them at that young age. Other games I played I have no memory of what they are. I recall when I played with my grampa, may he rest in peace, with him being Luigi and I "taught" him how to play.

In fact, my mom said she beat The Legend of Zelda while she was pregnant with me. XD

I may have been born at the end of the NES's life, but it was my first console and the nostalgia is just as valid.

N64, I wanted a GBC for Pokemon though, but my parents bought me a "real console", *sob* even my parents looked down on the handheld gamer...

I got the Game Boy the next year and enjoyed games like Pokemon Yellow (The first game I bought with my own money) on my N64. Good old Game Boy Tower in Pokemon Stadium.
