This thread should have a poll.

Runescape of course... how else was a 10 year old supposed to waste time with only a dial-up connection?

My first MMO must have been Lineage I, followed by Runescape and later Dofus [http://www.dofus.com/en/]. I never payed anything for them.

Runescape, unless you count the offline verson of Phantasy Star Online Ep. 1 and 2 for the Gamecube as one.

I played Maple Story for like six minutes at a friends house.

I don't have anything against MMO's, I just don't have the money or time to play them.

Maple Story can't be called one of the greater mmo's....

Like a 4/10

Good, Fun, Arcade-style like gameplay at the begining but then it just turns boring after level 20, then you'll start hacking, get banned, laugh, get over it, move to a different mmo.

Archlord wasn't that bad, lots of professions and stuff, just turns into a farm feast after what like 25-30?

Guild Wars

I made real friends on there, one that when I get much older and can afford to, I plan on meeting him, but thats another story. I still get on every week or so, just to check up on th guild see how everyone is doing, and if I feel like it, go do a dungeon.

I hear alot of good Stories about Guild Wars, Aion, But from what i've seen they're all the same, And no matter how much you hate admitting it, they're all Grind Fests, Even Eve Online, Don't take their sh*t for a second, they do make you grind for Isk, which is used to buy the skill books which train over time, then you need to buy ships, equipment, rigs, player owned stations, outposts, and then you pretty much own your own space and then you go on epic space battles every single day, sounds like a common MMO, all MMO's are the same but its always a Reskin, of a Reskin, of a Reskin.
