Kal Online here, god was that experience horrible, lol. xD
Try hero online... so much fun trying to level with 84 bots in the area hording the 50 monsters. And my first MMO... dear god that takes me waaaaay back...

I will have to say it was Everquest. Fun times before they had 3 billion expansions for you to buy.

Runescape in Middle School. I sank a lot of time into that game, and then one day I took a step back and realized that I wasn't having fun.

Runescape and Guild Wars. Now I'm onto LotRO. Love the music system and Fellowship Maneuvres.

Runescape because I didn't have a job at the time and my mother didn't think paying 15 a month for a game was good idea. I loved it and despite knowing how ugly it is today. I would go back and play it anyway.

MapleStory. I saw some people playing it, thought it looked interesting and tried it myself. Kinda...meh.

Then I found World of Warcraft and I've been happily sucked into it ever since. Some people say WoW is a waste of time, I say any time I'm spending having fun is time well-spent.

R.O.S.E. Online. The public beta, that is. Becaus a friend played it, and it was free. It was grindy, it was monotonous, it was samy, but it was fun in it's own horrible way. Still got it's music secreted away somewhere on my hard-disk.

Man, did that game drag me down the mmorpg-hellhole...
