I got this bad boy last summer for my birthday. I honestly don't know why I was so excited about it. I scarcely use the blasted thing. <.<

Man, you guys are young... this was my first phone:

That's right, the freakin' Nokia 3210... and it wasn't even new, it was a hand-me-down from my sister because I rarely used the thing anyway and couldn't be arsed to get a new phone...

Remember the hours of playing snake on it... -_-

Can you believe I've never owned a cell phone in my entire life?

Kinda weird when I think about it.

Oh yeah, the Phillips Orange savvy. Still have it in the house, but unsurprisingly, it does not work.

Old school baby!

I still have it. Maybe someday it will be worth something among retro maniacs :)

I had this bad boy, the Motorola Razr V3:

Not a bad phone but for a first.
Pretty much this, but I got mine when these were long outta style. It's been nearly 4 years since then. Thinking of replacing it with a hacked Iphone or something.

A Sendo...whatever the hell this is.

It had Snake.
Now all my phones must have either Snake or Tetris on them.

Mercury one2one Personal Call tariff with the m150 phone, circa 1997:

Had to be in my mother's name as I was just shy of 18. Some sort of special offer. The phone lasted 12 hours on standby, didn't support SMS and in my case, got used pretty hard. I spent HOURS talking to friends while plugged into the wall charger in my bedroom, sat against a cupboard.

The tariff allowed for absolutely unlimited calls to area codes adjacent to me, which at the time was quite revolutionary. When the tariff was discontinued, people who were already on it re-sold their contracts for hundreds of pounds. Those contracts had no fair use policies which made them particularly attractive (as the next generation that replaced them, did). The competition at the time as along the lines of "60 minutes a month for £30". How far we have come :)

After that is was Nokia all the way. No one could compete with them, so prevalent [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNL3YtdcR_E] they were. Had the 7110, 6210, Ericsson T39, then moved to MDA, MDAII, MDAII, Samsung Omnia Pro (hard keyboards on phones rox0r) and finally made the switch to android with Samsung Galaxy S2.

Some Virgin Mobile-LG smart phone that I really don't like. Barely runs an outdated Android OS, crashes often, can't run a good fraction of all apps in the store, and I'm using a data plan that isn't Verizon which means 60% of the time I have no Internet and connection.

Coca Cola phone. Went halves on it with my dad.

I still use the original one2one sim card for all my subsequent phones.

I was just thinking about this the other day, mine was the Nokia 3310.

I got one for my tenth birthday and it was awesome :D It was THE phone back in the day and everybody had one or wanted one, it was the iPhone of the early 2000's. I loved it :D
Same for me, oh the memories... I lost it 2 years after I got it ... I had a wolf skin for it :)

Behold - the Trium Astral.
Notice the antenna at the top? You actually had to extend it for phone calls.

Dear Lord, I'm old. -.-

this bad boy was a fucking brick, the samsung A650, shit ran hot as oil lit on fire when you texted alot, but god damn if it could be destroyed, it went through the missourri river, ran over 3 times, tossed out a 2 story window, and the battery still lasted me for 3.5 years before starting to poop out (and i charge my phone every night)

good memories...texted like a champ on it.
