Does the Bioware Social Network count?
I once saw a woman there referring to Cullen for Dragon Age as her "cullybug". Yeah it was perturbing....

Watching a video about the body farms, where scientist examine dead corpses to study the effects of decomposing.

I wouldn't watch it if you are screamish.

I remember reading one creepy pasta about some dude who's house was haunted or some shit and some grinning monster just stood, staring at him (it was written like a journal) and damn was it good because I was paranoid afterwards. If anyone would be so kind as to recommend some stories like this I'd like to give them a looksie.

creepypasta...the one about a morrowind mod
There is one about a Morrowind mod? Oh, this I have to see. Linx plz, if you have them.
I think this is it

http://inuscreepystuff.blogspot.com.au/2010/09/jvk1166zesp.html

it involves the world slowly getting darker and darker and

[i/]'prophecy has been severed' box pops up. This is because every single NPC having to do with the main quest is dead, with the sole exception of Yagrum Bagarn, the last of the Dwemer. Their corpses never despawn, so you can go check on all of them. In effect, you begin in a world that is domed to start with. [/i]

it would make a really cool concept for a horror/fantasy story
That story was awesome at the start, but when it got to the
part about the dude hearing things IRL I was like yeah, k, not even scary anymore
and just didn't care.

I was really hoping for something else QQ

On to Squidwards suicide now!

But yeah, I'm not going to be giving out links to the image or anything.
What about if I say pretty please?

Pretty please? :3
You would need to be drowsy, in the dark and with an overactive imagination. I have revisited the image a couple times today, and it isn't so bad.

Well Squidwards suicide was fucked up D:

I love stories like that! Also, I manned up and clicked one of the video links then it popped up and I was like 'wait no ABORT ABORT!' I'm a manly man, but dammit, I guess the creepy pasta got to me D:

Any other awesome stores like that which don't involve screamers or any other crap that'll interrupt my story time :(?

I also think asking for links to scary stories in a tread like this is asking for trouble, but whatever =x

Well I was reading random pages on tvtropes (I don't remember what page) and I stumbled onto The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing. Its a Lets play of animal crossing and I was intrigued. So I read it. Yeah, I haven't played any animal crossing game since. <a href:"http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ItGotWorse>It got worse.
thank you for showing me that. that was hilarious :p

OT: i don't want to just say 'nothing' and give you a poor impression of me, so let me just say that nothing in the internet is scarier to me than the horrors offered in the real world. there's plenty of stuff i could reveal i fear, but fearing information? that's just silly. the internet is just data to me, despite context.

I think it was when I saw a .gif of a man being shot without being bothered and realized the internet had numbed me of any disgust to... anything.

For anybody just looking for good creepy stories without images, check out Ichor Falls [http://www.ichorfalls.com/]. I would especially recommend "Candle Cove" and "Lemon Blossom Girl".

I dunno, I kind of got a poor impression from the part where it seems you plagiarised the meaning intended to accompany "Offended".

Recently? Probably Marble Hornets. Specifically Entry 46(if you keep up you know the one) scared the pants off of me, it took me totally by surprise.

Sounds like you got a computer virus after you looked at the image ;)

Double-back: Okay, after I tried to post the line above I got a "page not found" and when I refreshed I receive The Escapist's 404. Wooowwowowowowowooooh! Freeky jeeky, not that I care. It's all fun, games and coincidence.

Sudden captcha that I didn't have when I tried to post: "Read me, Write me".

I have just woken up, can close my curtains and turn off my light to make it dark and I can assure you that my imagination is very active!

Well there was this one comic on the Facepunch forums from ages ago that freaked me out a bit. It was talking about this gallery of paintings made by some artist and the last frame showed his masterpiece which he apparently created from his own flesh and blood. The scary thing? The face in the last panel moves and looks at you. I wasn't expecting it and I totally flipped shit when I saw that happen. Later on it wasn't so bad but still creepy...

Oh not really a frightening Internet Experience but The Tall Man from Yathzee's Chzo Mythos series creeped me out for a couple of weeks after I finished playing all four games. [sub]The New Prince was awesome though...[/sub]
