If that doesn't count, then MGS1 on the PS Store.
Same. I hadn't played MGS1 in ages and I thought it was time to play them all in order. It was great.

Not exactly a purchase but team fortress 2 !!
How is TF2 a classic? It's good, but it's not all that old.
I'm going to go with Deus Ex. Glad I bought it, it's amazing.

How old is classic?

I picked up Painkiller not that long ago on a Steam sale. Before that, it was.....Final Fantasy VII, I think, through PSN. Man, that game did *not* age well.

The E3 coverage of the new X-Com game had me jonesing to play the original, so I picked up the bundle off Steam.

I ought to give Apocalypse a shot, too. I think I only ever played the demo for that one.

I dont think it has to be old to be a classic, plus its pretty loved by many people, i think that makes it a classic or if not a will be classic

I just bought and finished the Hitman games, excluding the first one, but I hear it's not that great nor very vital to the story (Also, it wouldn't install on my comp).

Dead Rising Platnium hits edition

i found it for only $19.99!
Ouch, where did you get it? Cause it is $9.99 on Amazon. Though I don't know if you are the type of person that has never bought anything online. In most cases it is cheaper, even with shipping added in.

I don't really remember what game I have bought that would be old enough to be considered a classic as of late, but since you mention Dead Rising, I got this about a year and a half ago for $24.99 after I used a 10 dollar game credit on Amazon, free shipping too:

Though now it isn't as cheap as the original $34.99 now because there aren't many around anymore, now it is an awful $54.99

Either Spyro the Dragon numbers 1 - 3, or Crash Bandicoot. :D Yeah. I've been shopping around on the PSN. I had never tried any of the Crash Bandicoot games, and there are a lot of older series I've always wanted to check out, but just never got the chance. In particular: Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper, the game with the bear? and bird?.

Fallout 1 and 2. I'm starting to regret that decision.
Yeah, I know they're classics, but I've never really seen the appeal. Maybe at the time they were out, but for me, I couldn't play them now...
