Probably Yoshi's Island on the SNES. I mightve played Space Invader's or something in an arcade before that, but Yoshi was the first game I remember. Such a brilliant game too!
My first gaming experience was when my mom would go down to a little convenience store from our house to play Mrs. Pac-Man, but I used to climb on the stool in front of this cabinet and sit there watching Mario and Luigi kill turtles and flies, hoping someone would pity me and put a quarter in. They occasionally did, and boom. That's my first vg experience.
Half-Life, I was like eight or something and only managed to complete the hazard course and play the first 10 minutes up until you get to meet your first headcrab. From that point on I had to watch my dad play because it was just to freakin' scary!
