What weapon would you use in case of zombie apocalypsis?

If there was a zombie apocalypsis and you could choose a weapon you had just in case stored what would it be? Lets say either one bigger gun or two pistols of any kind plus a melee weapon. No machine guns atleast at first.


I´d say my choise would be AK and for melee a morningstar :} I atleast have some experience with AK and could reassemble and clean it .Soo that would be one headache less at time of apocalypsis. Last time I tried hitting target size of a human head was manageable at 150 meters.
Im pretty good :} Morningstar would be best possible weapon if no guns are at disposal, probably hell to carry around tho, but still far better that machete or something in my opinion.

P.S. If you want silenced weapon than only a pistol.

Judge because it is a pistol that can shoot shotgun shells

Just give me a baseball bat and I'll be happy. Its sturdy, strong, lightweight and easy to carry. You don't need a lot of room to use it, and its quiet.

I'd like to have a pistol or shotgun or something on me, but only as a last resort.

a FAMAS or Luger for long range and a Katana or baseball bat with nails in it for short range
since ammo is pretty rare in Europe I don,t think I,ll get much use from the FAMAS or Luger (unless the police pistols use the same ammo as the Luger)

The GAU-8 Avenger. I'll find a way to wield it one day... As a secondary, something basic like a samurai sword. An electrified samurai sword.

Flamethrower. It may be heavy and I may walk slowly but anything within 250 feet of me is dead so, yeah. Also fire is fun. Really really fun! For a melee weapon I'd choose a crowbar because it is heavy and sturdy (good for bludgeoning zombies) and I can use it to open up crates and locked doors to reach otherwise unobtainable supplies.

This is my theory on surviving a zombie apocalypse.

You should find yourself a nice location that you can fortify near multiple sources of food (farms grocery stores ect). Ensure that the weapons you have you can reload easily and find ammo readily for them. Stock up on enough foods to last you a month, when it gets down to the last week or so of food you need to start attempting to move out and get more. The reason for starting before you are out of food is in case the way out is too dangerous looking you can retreat and wait to try again. Take as few risks as possible, and never gather too large of a group of humans. The more people you have with you, the more mouths to feed and the greater chance of one of them doing something stupid to get you killed. A few people would be good though as it can increase your chances of having someone to save your ass from time to time.

Well seeing as I don't own a firearm (plan on eventually though), I'm pretty much limited to melee only. I've got some katanas, kukuri knives, and other pointy things so I'm pretty good in that regard. Also, I live on a fairly remote, dead-end road so I'm not expecting more than a few at a time so unless someone screws up and attracts a larger heard, I think I'm set.

I remember runnin inside buildings as military training and assault rifle felt like a broom o sth. I wonder how it would feel to fight zombies with sniper rifle insides. eehh hate to even think about it.

M4 or L85A2 and broadsword. I would say gladius, but according to some historian it wasn't designed to be used by one man, it only worked when like 400 men all stood in formation.

Realistically speaking? My pair of arnis sticks, which I can handle with, I believe, considerable skill. I'm a blue belt, so I think I can last for a while, and get that Zombie Genocider achievement, only in REAL LIFE!

Unrealistically? A pair of any gun that can blow a zombie's head off, a sniper rifle, and my arnis sticks. Stick with what you know, I suppose.

What weapon would I use hmm anything right. Ok. I'll choose the Leopard 2 MBT. Cause when you have 62 tons of rolling fury any zombie in the way is cat food.
