Well first of all I got to give mention to Pandora's Tower which from my experience is the least rare of the Operation Rainfall trilogy. The dungeon mazing is fun, the game has a Shadow of the Colossus feel to it although not as good, the story is dark and depressing, see the girl in great pain and turning into a terrible hellspawn is heart breaking and disgusting, and it honestly just makes you want to keep playing the game because you don't want to see her in pain. Problem is I haven't finished it yet. :/
Monster Hunter Tri is apparently a lot of fun, although I wouldn't know seen as I only bought the Ultimate version on Wii U, Dead Space Extraction is apparently a fantastic title as well and has a bit more content than the PS3 version, the Metroid Prime Trilogy is a stunning collection of three of the finest games out with very immersive controls and Gamecube graphics that still hold up remarkably well at least for the first title, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is honestly my favourite 2D Mario title since Super Mario World, Wario Land The Shake Dimension is a beautiful looking title for those looking for more 2D platform fun, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is one of the most fun fighting games out there with a wonderful character roster, Zack & Wiki is a fun but difficult point and click adventure, The Conduits 1 & 2 are fun FPS titles that sadly you won't be able to play online anymore, Sonic Colors was the game that got Sonic out of the mud hole at long last, Sin & Punishment Star successor is a fantastic title with a great predecessor on the virtual console, Link's Crossbow Training is a nice game if you are into getting high scores and shooting at things, Project Zero 2 is a fantastic remake of Fatal Frame 2, if you live in Japan or Europe that is, and while the first Red Steel is a complete mess of an existence, the second game is a great deal of fun, although I would recommend Wii Sports Resort and Skyward Sword over it when it comes to motion controls.
That's a lot of titles there, and people call the Wii a dust gather. It has at least 30 essential titles to it.
