What will you play in Skyrim?

So this is a pretty straight forward thread. What will you play your first time in Skyrim? Will you be a powerful barbarian warrior? A sneaky assassin? A mystical sorcerer? Or perhaps a cowardly archer? XD

Personally I'm going to play more as a warrior/archer class on my first playthrough, though with the new magic system I'm really tempted to play more as a mage.

Remember it will be more difficult to be an all-rounder this time around, with the 'level up what you use' ethos, wheras you find it easier to become a master in a specific area.

I have a few set character I use in TES games, one of which won't be possible until mods happen. I rather like the TES lore, and try to fit my guys into it.

Cyx is my base screw-with-the-game character, an Argonian mega-mage with a big ego, a tendency to set up shrines to herself, no respect for life or happiness and the power to crisp your skin with a thought. She's my dragon - powerful, careless, apt to murder, surprisingly fun to play.

Probably a stealthy assassin/archer type deal. I loved archery in Oblivion but it didn't do much in normal mode, was so useless in hard and Jesus did it make the game tremendously easy on easy. Although I do like being a mage now. So we'll see.

I shall first honor my nordic ancestors and go full on viking berserker. Dead animal pelts, long hair, duel wielding axes, and (of course) the biggest goddamn beard possible.

After that I shall play a sneaky stealth person with the ability to murder dudes from behind and slink away without detection.

Never played an Elder Scrolls game before, but I do like the look of this one and will probably end up getting it :)

I'm usually a tanky armoured warrior with a sword (or handaxe) and shield, with lots of nice healing spells and a few ranged attacks.

Gonna play a warrior with a little bit of magic.. Mostly conjuring to summon meatshields to distract my opponent while i go in for the kill.. Same thing as my first play through of Oblivion basically..

Anything with BIG viking mustache.
Usually I play as rogues, this time I'll probably try warrior-archer.

I'll be a foolhardy fast and strong Redguard who wields a two-handed sword. I always hate sneaking in Bethesda games, I'd rather charge in and suddenly wreck someone's day. I basically play a one-man raiding party.

And I'll definitely have what my Oblivion characters all lacked...

I might make my character look like Richie Havens.

I'll probably be a straightforward dual-wielding rogue with skills based more on attacking, weapon mastery, damage dealing and other practical skills, rather than sneaky stealth skills. That's pretty much what I'll always pick, if I can. The other option would be to be a similar warrior. Never liked to play mages of any kind.

edit: Just realized I was thinking about DA2. Not Skyrim. It's such a long wait for Skyrim. But anywho, the answer will be the same.

This. After all we're talking Skyrim: big fair-haired Nord highlanders/vikings .

Considering the new set up for the game, and the way that it goes about adapting to your style, I'll invariably find myself playing something similar to a spell-sword. Light on my feet, armor to shunt and take the blows of what I can't dodge, and enchantments to augment my natural abilities, combined with a weapon of some sort(most likely a long sword; probably dual wielded{Finally}).

I can honestly say this game is one that I am thoroughly anticipating; which is something that I haven't done in quite a few years.

I was gonna go with a heavy armor dual weilder, and if Im understanding the perks properly, specialized in axes for the bleeds. If the game will allow me to squeeze in some magic Im also gonna pick up conjuration for a bro while I play, and if I can fit in even more magic Ile pick of restoration for staying power. Its a priority system.

After that guy, Im gonna go with a classic light armor stealth guy who dual wields daggers and stabs the balls out of people. Who also has Conjuration xD..so someone can save me when my cover gets blown and a bunch of giant guys with huge sticks try to break me.

I usually go in with a sword and shield warrior. I play defensively. :p

Well, sorta defensively. I charge towards archers, deflecting their arrows, before cutting them down. All good fun.

I used to use two handed weapons, but they're too slow for my liking now. I like to block and slash when the enemy is open.

First assassin type to check out the Dark Brotherhood. Next I'll probably go for the typical Paladin build: Warrior in heavy armor with healing magic, if it can be done well.
