My realistic loadout would be:
M-14, its a sniper rifle dressed up in drag as an assault rifle
USAS 12, automatic shotgun that won my heart in Battlefield: Bad Company
SIG P226, I'm a NCIS fan, give me a break

I would keep a bunch of small arms in a stolen RV. I'd end up driving north to Canada or Alaska and ever summer I would kill semi-frostbitten zombies. It will be nice

besides a .22 will still kill because it can go through the skull and bounce around and expand

arsenal gear stocked with weapons, med kits, years of food supplies etc with all my friends and family plus some of their friends and family and ai controlled metal gear rays, maybe a rex or two. if i needed to go on land i'd use some shagohods, failing that a chopper on arsenal gear. lets face it arsenal gear is water based so no zombie would get to it and the ai rays will swim by and protect it. and duh the shagohod is a awsome land vehicle so about 20 of em would do the trick. but thats if metal gear exsisted (wish it did so i could use em). in seriousness though nives, bladed wepons, maybe guns from local police station and see if the gunmakers in the next town over has real guns and i'd try to sae relatives and friends. really though a bow with a special red dot sight or summat and tons of arrows would work to plus a sniper would work. berreta 50.cal would just blow em to bits and that would need to be saved till last. some jcbs would be brill as theres a facotry/ offices nearby with tons of their vehicles on site so that would do just nicely. (god i can waffle on cant i XD)

Gravity Gun just to kill the zombies, and a Portal Gun to reach Inaccessible places and for hilarious WTF zombie deaths.
And for transportation, or just for the hell of it, a Warthog with someone to man the gun.

A slow zombie give me some sort of chainsaw and minigun combo, quick ones give me a elite squad, a quick vechile with a minigun on the back and chainsaws on the sides. (As you can see the ultimate combo for me is a chainsaw-minigun)
And probally some Ak-47's for insurance. I mean im not walking about without a gun and fast zombies
