Exactly this. There is nothing that does not taste like chicken, so a dragon would taste like chicken.
DAMMIT

I've never had any reptilian cuisine but just to be different: Venison. Ha! My guess is the meat of deer!

I've tried to come up with a reasonable answer to this question ever since I played Legend of Mana and got dragon meat. Still can't decide...

But Leprechauns taste minty.

Also for a hunter to bag a MOTHERFUCKING DRAGON he must be Saxton Hale
I don't know who that is. Is he related to Harold Saxon?

Or perhaps a weatherman? Because Saxton Hale would be a badass weatherman name.

He's not a weatherman.

He's a hero.

It tastes like a cross between chicken and pork.

May I suggest it grilled with mango chutney and a white wine? It also goes well with poached griffon eggs.

My brain can barely fathom the pointlessness of this thread.
Why does a thread need a point?

OT: I'm fairly sure it would really, REALLY chewy. So you'd have to boil it to hell before it you can even cut it with a knife. After that....I don't know shit about cooking! Why you asking me?

it would be like beef jerky; Really hard to chew. I do think it would taste great with some barbecue sauce.

I have once tasted dragon and it does in fact taste like chicken.
It a soup of which I dipped my bread covered in elf blood while at Medieval Times. (Please help me)

I think they'd taste like something between lobster and steak. Don't ask me why, it just came to mind.

I would but... now I'm scared.

Actually I know what kind of dragons you mean but just to be a dick I'm gonna remind you that dragons do exist.

You can not eat them however, because they are in love.

I bet it comes pre-cooked. Or maybe pre-frozen if the dragon is an ice dragon.

So take fire dragon to a barbeque, take ice dragon to an expedition.

Title says it all, if Dragons existed, and could be hunted, what do you think they would taste like, and how would you prepare it? Bonus points if you can add inventive side dishes!

I personally think Dragon would taste like a mixture between pork and a hearty filet mignon, and would probably have some inherent spice/kick to it (because of the fire breathing). I can see it being served on a wooden slab, and people enjoying it with fresh fruit.

What about you Escapists?
they would taste like burning. because of their dragon blood burning your mouth
