In my experience, they usually don't. The actors are still styled for male interests and the main goal is generally purely visual. It is pretty damn obvious when the actors are actually lesbian and when they are just faking it. A lot of porn is just shallow and outright silly. There is a reason to why amateur is popular amongst women.

In actuality we have an upswing for porn aimed at women here in Sweden. Called "feminist porn", not sure what qualifies though.

On topic: Gay porn aimed at women. As in yaoi? That is gay erotica aimed solely at women, and mostly drawn by female artists. Essentially idealized straight men who are into each other for the sake of fanservice.

From what I can garner, gay porn tends aimed at women tends to have some sort of character build up before the actual thing.

They just don't go right into the action like most male porn is.

Backstory to each characters personality, sexual tease to get the blood pumping, then after denying his sexual desires gets fucked.

We'd probably see much more porn with plot... Like, ACTUAL plot that the creators put a lot of thought into. I mean a lot of yaoi stories/comics I've read (DON'T JUDGE ME >:[ ) tend to be like, 2/3 plot and 1/3 actual porn. I have a hard time picturing that being in a visual medium though; imagine porn being a feature-length film where no actual porn happens until the end (or it comes [teehee] in intervals throughout the movie]) and the majority of it is plot and character development, and yet it's still classified as porn. I think visual novels, doujin, and fiction would be better medium for gay porn aimed at women. Women tend to like a lot of build-up and plot towards their porny stuff whereas most porn is seen with derision by females, and rightly so, for being fake and overly visual.

For them wearing more traditionally masculine clothing is not related to wanting to relate to men but just as a way of self-expression, without having to worry about conforming to what is stereotypically considered female. Similarly you can find straight men who just enjoy wearing more feminine clothing or makeup.

But... but.. isn't it stereotypical for lesbians to wear masculine clothing? So, in a sense they are exercising their self-expression against one stereotype by conforming to a different one? ...Well, I guess it makes about as much sense to me as anything that women do.
