Not sure if you're trolling or just believe everything you hear. Women do masturbate, ya know.

For most men, porn made by women, for women would probably be, frankly put, boring.

Women, for the most part, are not aroused by the same visual cues that men are. Sure, the guy can be hung like a horse, have a good ass, smile, etc. But women want something deeper; Is he employed? Is he a mama's boy? Will he cheat on me? Hurt me? Does he do drugs? See, this is why yaoi is so popular; they get their questions asked in this story-like setting and it is visual. If you had to film this Harlequin Romance stuff, it would be a really bad made-for-tv movie with a chance to see some naughty stuff.

Just really doesn't sound exciting, does it.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. You aren't going to have the 'exaggerated' sex scenes, where the guy just keeps going and going for this ridiculous amount of time, and the woman just thrashing around the bed like she's loving every minute of it. Nope, forget that. Instead, it would be replaced with some deep, meaningful conversation, then some caressing/holding/kissing that may or may not immediately lead up to some quick, un-exciting bedroom scene. Once the deed is done, there would be more talking, cuddling, and sleep. Fin.

Hope I ruined this thread for y'all.

That's cultural, not biological. Biologically women are more visually oriented than men when it comes to sex. Studies have been done that show women reacting to sexual images faster than they could have consciously, let alone at the speed men can and do.

As for what this porn would look like, it would look pretty much exactly like Yaoi (guy on guy) hentai (anime porn), which is mostly produced by and for women. Or at least the manga side is -- I think the animation industry is still male dominated in Japan. Even then, the actual product is marketed towards women. Those yaoi fangirls are /scary/[footnote]scary horny, that is[/footnote], and I have seen them openly reading porn in public -- and not just in public, but in school. If a guy was doing the same thing, he'd be suspended, if not in jail on sex offender charges.

You might see some male on female porn aimed at women, too, but presumably there'd be a lot of the same romance-with-graphic-sex tropes that go into yaoi in it. Alternatively, you could look at 50 Shades of Grey, or pretty much anything else in the romance section. It's been a poorly kept secret for decades that that stuff is basically "granny porn." As in porn for grannies, not porn involving grannies.

Incidentally, is this thread advocating porn? Because that's against the rules, as worded :p

PS: Actually, that rule doesn't exist anymore, and what's there in its place is much worse than the old vague rules. Guess who owns the copyright on everything we post in these forums? And I don't remember getting a clickthrough agreement when this change happened.

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/content/termsofuse

Edit: On closer reading, it's just a non-exclusive copyright, which is legalese for "we can re-post whatever you upload, but you can too." Still might not want to post anything you plan on making money from at a later date, but it's an important difference. Still doesn't change the fact that we somehow went from a set of forum rules, however awkwardly written, to a full blown EULA, without any warning at all. They must have added the clause about things changing without warning in the last update we got a clickthrough for, and then quietly changed everything else later. You just about need a law degree to know what to report now.

Lesbian porn aimed at lesbians is completely different from lesbian porn aimed at men. There is a quite funny video of actual lesbians reacting to watching the male-aimed stuff here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJvYprLDcRs
I always laugh at that video, it perfectly sums up the 'lesbian' porn industry. Although there is more genuine lesbian porn out there most of what people consider lesbian porn isn't what lesbians want or do in reality. Although I guess that is true of hetero porn and reality too.

And I have no idea what gay porn for straight women would be like. Men touching their willies together after buying stylish yet affordable curtains?

As a yaoi/slash fangirl, I'd say there could be an untapped market, however, I'm not into seeing people do anything like what I read in live-action, so I would not be counted as part of that market.

(Read: yaoi = dude a with effeminate features and dude b with less effeminate features)

And for women who go all the way while 'bating

(read: bara = two men who are the epitome of manliness and steroid-abuse)

And for people who are just downright pedophile perverts

(Read: shotacon = children. Ew)

Which is basically children doing it.

Oh, there are many, many fun genres of pornography intended for women. And for men. Really, pornography as a whole is probably a genre that's not really been tapped into in much depth.

Getting laid isn't the problem, getting an orgasm, or even pleasure from men who no nothing about their bodies or where their "hot spots" are is the problem.

It's interesting how with Yaoi women like men with feminine (or very "pretty") faces, but when it comes to Ecchi the LAST thing the fanbase would want are women with masculine faces. Speaking as a male, that would just look...wrong.

Women in general don't respond to porn the same way men do. As a general rule, men are more visual in what they find stimulating then women, thus porn sells so well to men. Women, they don't respond with the same force, so "porn" might not even be the right word to describe what you would seek to make and market.

Keep in mind this is generalizing here based on common perception and supported by most any polls done on the subject. Women are less likely to respond to or as strongly as males are to porn is all.

Bara is actually for men. The genre is named after the Japanese gay culture magazine Barazoku.

I'd like to see ACTUAL actual lesbians reacting to that vid you posted. Mainly because I don't think real lesbians, or at least the normal non-attention seeking ones, would walk around with a pink "legalize gays" top on. I think that's called a token homosexual.

So because she isn't hiding her sexuality and has a message relating to a problem many feel passionately about and are campaigning against she must be fake? do you not see how ridicules this attitude is? You don't know her and have no cause to call her liar.
