You know what I honestly think? Half of the video game reviewers on this planet will say that it's good because it's Half-Life 2. They'll delude themselves into thinking they forgot what a good game was. Then a few months after release a flurry of other reviewers will all come out at the same time saying "HL2:E3 BLOWS!" at the same time and yet they will all act like they are the first to say it.

I think they need to hurry up damn it, because while not giving the slightest crap myself, I respect them and don't want them to fail. The longer they take, the more people will expect out of it, and if they wait too long it could be a solid finale and still the fans would commit honourable seppuku.
