what would happen if HL2 EP3 turns out bad?

If Episode 3 turned out to be 'bad', I would probably read some reviews, be like "Are you serious?!?" then laugh a little bit then continue with whatever I was doing.

Why is that important?!

and wondered; What would happen if halflife 2 EP 3 would turn out bad? We have been waiting for soo looongg.... it is almost unbearable! (not for me personally, but for some it is) i thought about a whole plot scenario, which involved: trolling, flamewars, and the burning down of every game shop in the world. because of the long delay.

what do YOU think would happen?

I don't think it will be bad, but I do hope it comes out bundled with awesome things like Ep. 2 did... The 2010-2011 equivalent of Portal and FF2, if you get my gist. Also, free older games would be totally awesome. Then maybe people would forgive valve for the long wait.

In reality, no matter how good/bad it is, there will be 3.5e21 haters anyway, because people are like that.

How could it turn out bad? It's not like they don't have a strong story, characters, engine, e.t.c. They could disappoint by bringing the same thing to the table, but worse? Nah, maybe only if they put portal gun in there for a portal fan wank. That would ruin the game.

Otherwise, I say take your time, Valve has been pumping out quality work for years and there's no point in which they will suddenly unhinge, as far as I'm seeing.

It was just some background information to create a story! also i was(and am really tired)
so my head isnt very clear. Everything i say or write could be complete nonsens, and you shouldnt pay attention to it
