English and the current number system used by all as well as various forms of mathematics would cease to exist. Architecture would be set back as someone already said. The gun would become dominant but anarchy would set in because there was kind of a lack of any Roman Empire and eventually everyone kill each other.
In addition, China's rise to prominence would be unopposed, though they would lose an initial major trading partner (and several Muslim and Christian trading partners later that arose from the Roman Empire). Japan would either face unification much, much later without the presence of Nobunaga Oda's riflemen...or possibly sooner, if the gun plans spread that far east.
The Colonial period would either not exist, or exist in a much different form, and thus the Aztec and Incan empires (short of some butterfly effect) would fall much more slowly or persist to the present day in some form. Sub-Saharan African kingdoms might continue rising and falling as major powers. Australia would be inhabited only by Aborigines...
Lots of stuff would change.
