In my experience, a lot of "exotic" stuff tends to taste like chicken.
I tried one of those frogs the french get one of their nicknames from, they're pretty nice but almost identical to chicken. Except the bones are smaller and there's less meat. And the restaurant where I ate them charged me a few times the money I'd spend if I simply bought and cooked a chicken -_-
I've tried ostrich once, it didn't seem to have much distinctive taste either.
Exotic food is cool. I'd love to try some seal meat, I hear the inuit up north here in Canada are allowed to hunt and eat them for cultural reasons. I've gotta travel up there and try some of it...
Penguins would be cool too. Fuck, I'm open to anything that's not gonna immediately poison me to death. Even that japanese fugu fish...
