I finished watching the sony jimquisition episode and wondered what they could do to make it up it to me.for me its remaking some of their old classics.But what would they have to do to make it up it to you?

Turn it back on, that's about it for me. They really owe me nothing they didn't deliberately get hacked (even though the security could've been better) and I lost nothing in the raid since I use pre-paid cards. I'm not looking for anything to compensate for PSN being down anything they give me is just a bonus in my eyes.
I don't think Sony owes me anything, but I think it would be cool to see them treat their customers with something other than contempt. I don't own a PS3, haven't ever installed linux on anything (though that will probably change very soon), and wouldn't have used OtherOS. I still think it's a legendary dick move to remove a feature after the PS3 was sold, and sets a horrible precedent. If piracy is theft, so is what Sony did, and I don't want other companies to see them get away with it.

I was going to say "just turn it back on", but then I remembered that I made my account when I was under 18. Since Sony does not allow sub-accounts (accounts created by people under 18) to be promoted to a master account, I am forever restricted as a child. This makes purchasing anything on the PSN very annoying. The worst part about this is that if you contact them, they will tell you to "make a new account", which means abandoning purchases, save data, and trophies (if you care).
So I say they can make up for this by adding the option to promote a child account to a master account when the user is 18. Do this instead of discouraging their users, who were honest about their age, from purchasing anything on the PSN.

Wow, I am incredibly shocked that Escapist doesn't have a bunch of people trying to paint Sony as a bunch of inept fucks for getting hacked. I don't really think they owe me anything (I miss PSN but its absence has had zero impact on my life), but I would be glad to accept free goods.
It would be nice to have cross game chat, faster connectivity, that sort of thing. Free game-wise, I don't expect to be offered anything I would ever want that I don't already have.
