It would be Superman 64 with Wii controls. Actually, simply typing that sentence caused me to lose all will to live.

You don't even have to die to go there...It's that crater with all the copies of the E.T. games.

First, you must go through an unskippible 2-hour tutorial that shows you all of the basics but none of the things that you would actually need help with. Then, after every level there is a 45-minute long cut scene written by the writers for the worst anime you can think of. Oh, and you would be forced to play all the levels with a wii controller, and there is no save.
Sooo, kinda like Metal Gear Solid 4

A video game hell wouldn't be a bad place for gamers, but for the games itself. Lagging and bugs only piss off the player, not the game. In a true video game hell, games would only be played by fanboys and fanfic fans, and the video games have to hear their comments. Also, anything in any fanfic could happen in the actual game, so their would be fail sex scenes in most games between characters with poorly written fanfic dialog. Yahtzee would write a negative review about every game (or would that be Yahtzee's hell?) Games would be played on the wrong systems. They would be scrathed. Every love interest storyline would be made even more corny, and the game would have to watch it. Also, if it is in a genre, like fps, other games in that genre would come and kick their asses, like Halo (average imo) Spartans coming in and ganking everyone in Turok (bad game imo.)

How much worse do we need to make it?

There would be guys in trench coats trying to grab you, lots of pits to levitate out of, and infinite mothers to catch you as well. The trials of hell would be to collect little bits of random black objects.

Videogames would be frozen for all eternity in "I have no mouth, and I must scream" style, staring forever at a Red Ring of Death. Maybe every once in a while, they might treat the PC games to the ancient horror of the Blue Screen of Death, just for a change of pace.

The only games available are ET for the atari 2600 countless plotless crappy FPS, I would list more but it would be a wall of boring text, All games would have the worst voice acting possible "monotone voices all the way through during the dramatic parts >.>) the only people you hear in online games are the 9 year olds you hear on XBL all the time, your favorite games were all "Improved" by there developers (fill in improved with well... when they tweak a game to suck worse than the original but I guess you filled that blank in already) and the Red Ring Of Death was a daily thing, even for the ps3 and wii "BUT HOW"
"ITS HELL"

Imagine Universal Park Studios Theme Park Adventure for Gamecube. Played on a Gamecube with the disc loader glued shut by Satan. And there are no other games to play. Forever.

Videogame hell would be having to play Evergrace. On a 360.

The criteria is that you have to restart the entire game every time you die, but you are released from Hell if you ever complete it.

The reason it's on the 360 is that either the batteries on the controller would run out, or the machine would RRoD if you ever got close to winning the game.
