Hmm... GOLD. No, wait. The gold market's high. Copper's only going to go up, however. So, however much copper I can get for that. Or maybe a ferry ticket to France and as much petrol and/or diesel as I can get with the remainder, to be sold off at the first closed fuel station (riding there from the port on my bike).

Screen, hotgrips, winter gloves, new sprockets, less crappy tyres } for motorcycle
New battery, new wacom pen, final 1gb RAM upgrade, final 320gb HDD upgrade } for old laptop
Yeah, spending that money would be pretty easy. Try me with... oh, 1000x that? That's probably where I'd start being able to put stuff in savings, after e.g. having bought a modest house outright, furnishings, a decent car, and fuel/insurance/servicing/tax vouchers to run both for the next 10 years.
