I get my mindf**ks mainly from Stanley Kubrick movies. Anyone who can make "2001: A Space Odyssey," "The Shining," and "A Clockwork Orange" has to be pretty screwed up.
Bah, 2001 is really the only mind fuck out of the three. But then again, it's mind fuck-y enough for at least three movies.

Damn straight.
*hears strangely calming creepy music coming from what is obviously a checkertiled floor with dancing midget.....*

I went to http://www.timecube.com/ while stoned once, and actually made the mistake of trying to understand it.

Also a certain girl I know.....

This isn't a movie but I went to this uber uber hardcore religious camp thing (I'm really not religious at all) and my group was sitting in the dark in this old cathedral. I told them about this time I predicted our house being broken while on vacation and they told me that was "God speaking through me." I dunno that just freaked me out so bad I actually got up and ran away.

Moviewise I'd say Nightmare on Elm Street. Saw that as a kid at a sleepover and it still is in the back of my mind when I go to bed. Curse my over-active imagination!

No, he's really popular because he's really fun-okay couldn't even come close to saying that with a straight face. I don't know what's wrong with the people that enjoy that either.

Also Yes.

My definition is something that can confuse you. Even when your high and
drunk.

My browser crashed while I was at leekspin.com. The song kept playing. And playing. And playing.
That messed me up even though I kinda liked the music, it just began to eat away at my mind

I... I can't call any of the films listed here "mindfucks".

Lynch is a fucking genius, but all of his films have some kind of logic/frame of reference during their running time, and damn near all of them are masterpieces of film.

Chan-wook's movies aren't mindfucks, just beautifuly told epics. Has everyone here seen "Thirst" already? Fucking do it if you haven't.

"Dark City" was perfectly logical and also EASILY Proyas' best film (that's right... better than "The Crow" by leaps and bounds...) but far from a m ind-fuck... simply put it is one of the greatest sci-fi.fantasies of all time.

"Excel Saga"/"Puni Puni Poemi" are both perfectly logical, as long as you understand the fact that they are purposely fourth-wall breaking shows full of red-herrings and in-jokes. Though reading "ES" the manga doesn't help matters.

Truth be told, best mind-fuck of a film that I often recommend to people simply for thew "whatthefuck" factor is an avant-garde, black-and-white movie titled "Vace de Noses" do a bit of research and then give it a watch. It makes

Fairly surprised this hasn't been said yet:

The Animatrix

Now, try to remember how uncomfortable you felt after watching 'The Second Renaissance' for the first time. Then, imagine yourself high off your ass while at the same time immersed in the works of Samuel Butler (just read the first few paragraphs of Darwin Among the Machines [http://www.nzetc.org/tm/scholarly/tei-ButFir-t1-g1-t1-g1-t4-body.html] to give yourself the general idea)

Are you there yet? Good. Your mind has just been successfully skull-fucked and you should have no more faith in humanity whatsoever.

Agreed, when you watch that all the way through your mind does a backflip then snaps in half.
