What would you do if all of your friends on the Escapist left right now?

I joined the Escapist a few days ago so that I could be together with my old friend of mine that had to move across country.

After just one day of being on this website I find out that he is planning on leaving the website.

And he was my only real friend on this website and now he is leaving, so I ask you,

What would you do if all of your friends just disapeared right now?

I don't have any proper friends on this site, as in, I don't have people I talk to regularly. But I suppose I'd just make new friends if it did happen, the Escapist is teeming with interesting and friendly people, so you can choose from practically anyone

Nothing; my main use for forums is not as a social medium for friends, real-life or otherwise.

I've never be one to form close friendships with users on message boards. I have three friends on here, I think. One I added because I liked his avatar, the others, who knows.

Anyway, I wouldn't be affected and proceed with business as usual.

I'd be more upset by the internet than I have ever before, but people are transient. It would be kinda weird though; my 'Scapist friends are people like NewK, LaCoil, Varchld, and what not. The entire 'Scapist would be different without them I think.

Meh. I only browse the forums really, hardly say much unless something really interests me. If your a gamer (Like most of us) you could check out the webazine and Zero Punctuation. I really like some of the stuff the webazine brings to my attention and ZP is great light humor while prodeing at a game and its trends. I hate realism and consistently regenerating health in FPSs, its contradictory and really takes off the edge yaknow?

Probably keep posting. My only real friend on this site atm in terms of interesting conversations and respect I have with other Escapists would be TheRocketeer. I'm yet to get to really know any of the others, but in time it may come to happen, so atm it wouldn't really bother me all that much.
-edit- Also Helios(DEL), but I know him in real life and he's a good friend, so if he left, it wouldn't be all that lifeshattering.
