look at him, go insane, start rocking out to "The Thing That Should Not Be" and "The Call of Ktulu", then die horribly.

Ask him in for tea and crumpets. He is going to destroy the world, but it doesn't mean I can't be polite.

Slap a leash on him and walk him down the street. I have a weird way of connecting iwth animals. Only cats hate me.
Problem being that he's not an animal, he's technically a god. An omnipotent being so vast and so terrifying as to drive a man insane from a mere glance at just how incredibly, mindblowingly scary he is and when he wakes he will devour the world.

So man up, you're as screwed as the rest of us!

Just had to, sorry.

Isn't that Rimmer from Red Dwarf?

Gibber a bit. Then go find a steamboat.

Cthulhu ain't a god btw, he's an Old One. There's actually things that he worships as gods.

Damn it! I was in the middle of talking with my mom when I saw your post. I kept cracking up at how funny that is. Kimmy's serious face didn't help at all either.
Just doing my part.

Ask what he is. Seriously, I never bothered to look up what the hell a cthulu is. I'm old
Well the novels were written in the 1920s? Not entirely sure but being "old" is definitely no excuse for not knowing Cthulhu.

I would summon the one power on this planet, NAY, the universe, that could stop dreaded Cthulu.

If Cthulu came I'd probably take a long shower and refrain from going outside until the streets were all cleaned up.

If it is then that will be a great coincidence, I haven't watched Red Dwarf for many years. I know what I'm doing tonight now then at least, if I find out whether it is Rimmer, I shall report back!

Good question. HP was never very clear on the whole hierarchy above the Old Ones. Probably the Elder Gods. Or the Outer Gods. Azatoth'd be a good guess, or Yog Sothoth.

I started Watching it this week, and that scene when Rimmer says that is probably my favourite. It's the Polymorph Episode from Season 3(I think. Could have been 4.)

Also Kinda on topic, and quoting Red Dwarf(This time Lister) "I say we get out there and Twat it. One knee to the happy-sacks and it'll drop like anythin' else."

I'd die.

On the side, I noticed something involving Cthulu yesterday. We had a charity in the school, and if we donated, would put a heart on the wall with our name and a word or two on it. Someone was clever and managed to write out, "The end is nigh! Cthulu is awakened!" using said hearts.
