What would you do if the polar opposite to what you believe in turned out to be true?

Apathy for the win. I don't care really, although a God indefinitely existing would probably cause a shit load of problems in the world, what with people not caring so much anymore.

It's not likely to ever be a problem though, God doesn't seem to like talking to sane people, and science can't prove or disprove God... so apathy for the win!

As I don't really believe in anything, nothing would change.

Well, except that I'm a failure. If that belief would take a 180 degree turn, it'd only be a good thing.

Well, I believe that things are theories and nothing is set in stone.
What would happen to the world if that was false? D:
Well technically the world is there. Our investigations aren't set in stone, but reality is still there no matter what we think about it.

I would travel back in time, make my opinions before the opposite, then change them after I find out. I would have the same beliefs, and they would all be true.

I'd pretty much just shrug and say, "well guess I messed up somewhere. Never said it was definate anyway," then start feverishly scoring points with whatever deity is around like a good little mercenary.

And thus why this thread kinda failed...
I do try my best to be as irritating as sex with a man who has a syringe full of thrush for a penis.

I would rebel against the establishment and raise an army of acolytes to fight against the armies of god.

I wouldn't be doing anything because I'd be a marshmallow. A delicious marshmallow.

Really though, I'd probably change my beliefs. For instance I'm an atheist, but an agnostic one; so if proof came up showing that there are one or more deities, then I'd start believing in them. Of course there would be some things I'd rile against even if they are true. I don't have to worship a deity I don't like, even if it does exist.

The question is in the title. So for example........ If you're an Atheist you discover in some indisputable fashion be it via voice of god or scientific evidence, whatever not important, that say... Scientology is true. what would you do? dig out the six hundred dollar membership fee, get your angst on or whatever?
Me I honestly don't have an answer to that question but I am curios to hear other peoples.

Edit: It doesn't have to be Scientology you don't have to be an atheist for the question to apply. You could be Muslim, Christian, Jedi or anything of the like. Just answer of you feel like it.

Also I don't man to offend anyone (except filthys, anyone else read world shaker?).

Edit again: I mean fundamentally undeniably.
I would obviously go into denial and join an extremist faction to cover up the truth....

That or I would go on with my day. Even if what I believed in wasn't true, I still have to do homework and go to school tomorrow. Meh.
