I guess I wait it out for 5 days until my next pay comes in and survive as best I can off the food I have stocked in the fridge and pantry. If I run low, since I can't ask my parents for money, I'll just ask them to buy a couple days worth of cup noodles.

I would be mighty pissed that the savings for my new motorbike suddenly vanished. Not quite baby kicking angry but at the very least puppy kicking angry. Best to keep any cute, quadrupedal creatures out of my site until I calm down.

I get paid every two weeks, and my paycheck is enough to cover my usual expenses in that time. I also have a meal card, so I can just get my meals from the galley on base, and I get free (if sub-par) healthcare. The first two weeks would be somewhat less comfortable than usual, but after that, I'd be fine. Military life has its benefits.

Bank accounts are insured against this sort of thing. Well...against theft and errors in the bank system, but the idea is that you can't make my money disappear and then nothing happens. One way or another, it's been taken via unauthorized means and the bank MUST make good on it.
