Heres a random question, what would you do if your pc just suddenly stoped letting you clear history, without prior warning, you just went to delete you history 'FOR WHATEVER REASON' one day and bam. For dicussion purposes the only way to get rid of your history would be to wipe your pc, you couldn't just switch browsers, why? cos a wizzard did it.

Me, Id panic and tell people my pc's broke, perma broke. never use my pc.. ever.. it will give you a disease, a bad disease, aids.

Also apologies to anyone who clicked expecting a time travel related threat ^^

Haha, I get nervous when people use my web browser sometimes. Even if I haven't been looking at anything that bad, what happens if you clicked on some weird link that you forgot about?

I remember seeing a demotivational somewhere that said "True friends are ones that will delete your browsing history when you die."

Dad: "hey let me check your history"
ME: "if you do that I'll kill you and where your skin like a robe!!"

Basically I wouldn't change my habits but no one is allowed to check my history, ever.

Burn the PC. I haven't done anything "too bad" on it, but my privacy is SACRED. No one must know about my secrets. [sub][sub]Watching cartoons on the internet.[/sub] [/sub]

Seeing as I'm the only person who uses this PC, I'd just surf the web like I usually do.

And if someone did see my history? Might be a bit embarrassing considering the stuff I google for the lulz, but I'll live.

Well yeah, I'd be even more defensive about my PC than before.
Then again, nothing too terrible will pop up, so meh. Just the usual teenage antics.

I have nothing to hide. If I did I'd just use the private browsing option in Firefox so it doesn't record my history.

Actually, I haven't used cache or history for quite awhile. First time I went to security settings, I noticed my cache was set to 30 gigs of space. Really? 30 gigs? What, am I downloading the whole damned internet? I just shut it off, along with caching and most cookies. I'm on a cable connection after all, no real point to having a cache for web browsing.

More to the point, history makes pins all over my start menu and in my Chrome context menu, which I'm not a fan of, since I don't generally surf the same sites over and over again. Got rid of that, too.

If it was just my browser I really wouldn't care, because there is no history there anyway. Furthermore, it is my computer, so I control who gets to use it. However, if I know that something shameful is (somewhere) on there, I will be less comfortable letting other people use it. Especially without supervision from me.

Oh God they might see gaming sites in between email and art webpage visits!
*Le Gasp*

Its less scary for me as an asexual, because I do not have a need for porn.
I have artistic nude models for life drawing homework to make up for it.

I'd cry. Some people have linked me to the Dail Mail website. I don't want people thinking I read that shit.

I'm really confused, why would not being able to delete your web history be a bad thing?

PORN!!!!!

Ahem. I would use a different browser that I delete all the short cuts for and basically make a pain in the balls to find. If anyone else wants to use my computer for going online, they'll use the first browser they come across, the one without all the porn on the history.
