Unless they can chew through a tree, I doubt the world would end. Also, the vast majority of the worlds oxygen comes from algae. Good luck eating all of that zombies.

Uhhh... Honestly I think that carnivorous variety are much more dangerous. Plus they would get distracted by grass fall over and eat dirt until their guts were so full they were unable to roll over and then get up. So you would then shoot them and their bodies would explode and produce zombie fertilizer.

This would infect the plants which in turn would make zombie plants. Which I think is bad personally. I do not think that Vombies or perhaps Veggies (that needs work) would be an immediate threat or a direct threat but more of a problem later on down the road.

KILL THEM. Vegan zombies eat plants which are much easier to take care of then animals leaving the a barren dessert, gradually starving all wildlife leaving us to slowly starve to death. These vegan's are even worse than the usual kind.

....where did said zombies come from? And how do they replicate?

Seems like there would be a very finite number of these zombies.

Unless some sort of evolutionary survival mechanism triggered when the zombies ran out of animals/humans to eat (IE humans extinct or somewhere the zombies can't get to - space colonies?), making them instead go after the plants....

I'm thinking something along the lines of 'you are what you eat' and then calling them a cabbage. But its still in the works.
