Here are the rules.

1.Any Time
2.You can't bring anything back with you
3.You can't change history in any way
4.You exist in that time, but people will not pay too much attention to you.
5.You can stay anywhere for as long as you want

Personally, I would be jumping back and forth, watching all the best musicians, comdians and musicals during the best days.

Hendrix one day, dylan the next, followed by the beatles, 10 aniversary of Les Miserables and finsihing off with Mike Reid at his greatest.

I'd go watch all the horrific happenings in history juxtaposed with all the grandest events.

The Bad
Reichstag burning
Nuremburg rallies
Mao Tse Tung's march across China
The first atomic detonation
JFK's assassination

The Good
The first telephone call
Berlin Wall coming down
Freddie Mercury at any venue
Pop in on Da Vicni occasionally to see how the Mona Lisa is doing XD

Go stand in the grassy knoll
Woodstock ('69)
Any venue for Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' tour
The evacuation of Dunkirk (My great grandfather was there)
Gallipoli (My great grandfather was there)
Go to Rome and Athens at thier peak
The battle of Thermopolye
Mohammad Ali/Sonny Liston fight

(Probably many other things as well, I just can't think of any right now)

Go back to the age of the dinosaurs, and catalogue it all for a couple of years, learn about their behaviour, get some images. Then I'd travel back millions of years to the same spot where earth is today, in order to explore alien worlds, and maybe colonise them...don't know if that counts as changing history.

Welp, I guess noone would notice if I went and fetched some Money from a few Ancient Banks/Castle Treasuries.

Since, you know, noone will notice Me. And I cant change History.
I may as well get some REALLY EXPENSIVE ANTIQUES.

I would go on a cinematographic tour of the turn of the Century through 1940's or so. There are a lot of lost films that I would love to see like the lost Japanese Kong movies and other such lost films. I would also love to be at any given Babbages, Funcoland, etc on the day Sega announced that the Sega Saturn was available to buy. I was alive when that happened but I was still playing with the SNES and had no way of knowing what was going on in the gaming world (didn't get Nintendo Power until I got my N64 in the late 90's)

I'd find it hard not to go back to when I was five and tell myself how to live in the future =/

Mmm but if you are being all strict about it, go live through the civil war and watch Oliver Cromwell running the country.

I'd first go to the future a hundred years or so to see any advancements, maybe learn a thing or two. Then start stepping back events in time until I get to the time where life was just starting on Earth. Obviously, I wouldn't stay then for more then few hours due to the fact there would be little to sustain me. I would probably set up a life in the future where things will be safer and the possiblity of being ageless is made. If I could take someone with me when I travel, I'd find a nice girl to settle down with and take her to the time in the furture where I decided to live. That is, if I found someone that wasn't in that time in the future....e I think thats about it.

Is it bad that the first thing I'd do is go back in time and watch old cartoons again?

Probably just observe famous moments in history and see if the history books are right.

Go get the answers to all the great mysteries. How, exactly, did the dinosaurs die? Did any of the mythological figures actually exist? What about major relgious ones? What will the end of the world look like?

I can't die, because that would change history. So its safe to say that I could get a front row seat for any armageddon I could want and walk away none the worse for the wear.

Since I couldn't take anything back with me I'd travel to the height of the Roman Empire, learn all the skills and materials needed to make authentic Roman garb, armor, etc. and then come back and use it.

On the same note, I'd travel to the future and do the same, though learn about something different.

Nothing. Maybe sell it on Ebay, or if I'm feeling very moral and ethical, I'll probably burn the thing to the ground.

After reading that, I'm convinced that fiddling around with the Space-Time Continuum is not worth it unless your an immortal, extraterrestrial entity like the Doctor.

I'd go to the future and look at some 3D blueprints(it is the future) and when I come back I'd build it here and gain a lot of money
