Just challenging you a bit, because a lot of people seem to think the world turned into a comicbook world. But other than 50% of all humans suddenly being mutants the world is identical to how it is today.
The day before this happened there would still be problems in the middle-east, people preaching for and against Global Warming...
Then the next day people have powers...
Exactly, so how would you be Batman tomorrow, when half of the world became Mutants?drbarno said:The coolness factor (I'd want to be a badass normal), plus the masses of funds I would need to pull it off.Aurgelmir said:What stopping you from becoming Batman today?drbarno said:become batman

The masses of funds is really for only pulling it off well, as people with probably less have done so http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/106675-Real-Life-Superhero-Thwarts-Robbery-Gains-TV-FameAurgelmir said:Exactly, so how would you be Batman tomorrow, when half of the world became Mutants?drbarno said:The coolness factor (I'd want to be a badass normal), plus the masses of funds I would need to pull it off.Aurgelmir said:What stopping you from becoming Batman today?drbarno said:become batman

I just find it so interesting that a lot of people think we would become the DC/Marvel worlds. I personally do not think that would happen.
I also chose the number 50% for a reason, because that way neither humans or mutants would be the majority.
Which means it would be hard for a government to "ban mutants" since half of, lets say, congress is actually mutants now.
PS: No plasmids, super power juice, radio active spiders doesn't exist in hte real world, but "tomorrow" mutants will
