What would you do if you woke up and half of the worlds Population had superpowers, and you didn't?

How about: keeep doing your job. Superpowers in comic books don't generally help with administration, organising, bookkeeping, carpenting and a whole bunch of ordinary stuff.

Just don't bother trying to compete as a professional athlete.

Thats a good way of looking at it I guess. And I guess new rules for the Olympics might be needed.

It also seems to me a lot of people view mutants as the enemy... which makes me sad What did they ever do to me or you?

Sure there will be issues, I mean a terrorist with a healing factor would make for an insane suicide bomber, but wouldn't a cop with skin of steel be a very good cop?

One thing I highly doubt though is that we would get a Billion super heroes running around. Mainly because i believe its harder to be a hero in real life.

And for the love of god people, if we don't have the technologie to make Iron-Man, Sentinels, or Teleporters today, we will not have them tomorrow. So any suggestion towards the such is not within the spirit of what I am asking.

War splits families and friends. Take, for example, the Irish Civil War. Upon gaining a slight bit of freedom from the UK through a treaty which wasn't really great for us but it did lead to us gaining total freedom, one side (the anti-treaty) weren't happy, and started yet another rebellion and it ended up with the pro-treaty side having to crush them.

Check to see if my friends have super powers. If they haven't gone all holier-than-thou on me because of their newfound abilities, I'd stay with them and hope that they protect me from the people who have superpowers. And then I'd attempt to make a lot of money and become Batman.

But is that a fact though? Sure it evens out he playing field a little, but some people would probably have powers better suited for their life than others? And some people would be more powerful than others?

Obviously I would become a badass mercenary who specializes in killing Supers with awesome guns and gadgets (and probably some kind of electro sword); they would be in high demand with the crime sprees that would undoubtedly follow, since deep down I think most people, given the opportunity, would be super villains rather than heroes. And I'm certainly not gonna miss out on all the fun of real life super battles.

Can I be your clumzy and funny but charmng sidekick that DOESN't die, but merely gets woundeed and acts as a motivation for you to really get the baddies?
