What would you do on new year's eve.

New year's eve is coming and this might be the last new year's eve in human history if the 2012 prediction comes true.
Since this new year's eve might be the last one in human history. So what would you do this then?
Anything special? Are you ready for the countdown?

Saturday night, Time and a Half, 6 -7 hours work. I'm not too fussed.

I work New Years Night and New Years day (at noon). So I will just be working. It kind of sucks. On the other hand I will be ~10 hours deep into over time when that day rolls around.

Still underage, so I'm going out with a couple of friends for a picnic in the city, and then we'll watch the fireworks. Those who are over 18 in my group are going off to karaoke at 1 AM, apparently, but I'll probably crash at my boyfriend's and watch anime with him for the entirety of New Year's Day. Because, you know, Code Geass > everything. We're cool.

First, I doubt this is the last New Years Eve in human history. That won't happen for another thousand years at least.

Second, the same thing I do every year that I don't work. Either fall asleep early or stay home alone and drink and then fall asleep by myself. Last 5 years I've sat at work and y'know actually worked. I don't know what to do on holidays when I don't have work. I'm sure I know people doing parties but I don't care enough to find them nor do I get invited in the first place so it isn't worth my while. Maybe once I move I'll actually start celebrating a holiday other than Halloween.

Same thing as last year. Making drinking games out of card and video games while watching my friends play shot chess and steadily get worse and worse at it. We'll completely miss the countdown again and crash about 5am. It was great fun last year and I'm expecting more of the same except without the feeling sick.
