Sell them to some hyper nerd for real money.

Then go buy beer and bitches.

You can't strut without beer and bitches.

And a furry coat.
You seem to have forgotten the purple fuzzy hat.

People seem to be forgetting that the points aren't tied to a certain console, they're tied to your profile. So as long as you remember the password and the email address to that profile you used, then your MS points and everything you've bought with them will be just fine. Plus the slim 360 isn't supposed to break down like the original. Note that I didn't say red ring - it can't red ring because (gasp) the led light won't turn red.
Yeah, but you'll have to pay $120 to get your console fixed, or $300 to buy a new one, and you can't do either of those with your microsoft points, and I wouldn't be willing to spend more money than I already have on the piece of shit hardware in the xbox 360. After getting mine fixed 3 times I'm officially done with it if it ever breaks again.
Yes, unfortunately. By the way, MS had a three year free warranty on the red rings, didn't they? When mine red-ringed, I sent it there and they got one back to me in less than a week and I was back up and running, and it hasn't red-ringed since. I think I just got a new Xbox because it still had a new console smell attached to it - you know the one - and I remember there being a nick on my old one that wasn't on the new one that I've had for two years now.

Why are you paying $120 if the red-ring warranty is supposed to be free?
Mine red ringed once under warranty, which I didn't pay for, then the videocard died, which wasn't covered by the warranty, and then it red ringed again about 2 weeks after the warranty expired.

I would buy every good arcade game and several DLCs, including the GTA4 expansions.

...then I would not be on the internet for 10 days waiting for all of it to load. Fuck My Bandwith.

You found the invisible gasoline, and just attempted to light it, I'd call you on it but im impressed with your determination to start a flame war.
Peh. That's not how you start a flamewar...

Observe:

What would I do with 500,000 MS points? Nothing. I don't have an Xbox. ;p

You know I'm going to have to agree with that. I'd also just get all the games I need that I have yet to buy.

Sell for $100,000.
There are only a few XBL things I consider worth getting, and even getting rid of them at a loss is not bad, considering the amount I have, as well as the free nature surrounding my acquisition of them.

I'd sell my account. I have a 20 gig hard drive, and I don't play my 360 enough to justify buying a larger drive for all the content.

If you were to give me a 250 gig drive as well, I suppose I'd go get a few games on demand. Probably Fallout 3 if that's on there, and Red Dead Redemption if that's one. And I suppose I'd buy a on demand version of Oblivion, since my disk is sort of...scratchy.
