What would you like to see in Bioshock 2?

We all know about the rivet/drill stuff taht are ganna be in but what would you personatly like to see? Here's a list of what i'd like to see.

Non linear gameplay: What i mean is in bioshock one there was one objective and you were doing it that way wether you like it or not. Since this time your a big daddy you should be able to choose to go out of water and then play the game how you want

Fights in water: I heard that when your in the water there will be no fights, THAT SUCKS, you should have a few fights cuase that would support my first thing i said.

More fun plasmids: In bioshock one i olny used 6 of all the 13 they gave you and that kinds sucks concidering they didnt give you much of an option, seriously target dummy? Who needs that when you have Sonic boom, The olny 6 i used and i never changed it up was, Sonic boom, Fire, Lightning (Those past 2 since they are kinda required 2 open doors and break ice) Ice, Telekenisis, and buggys. Thats it, if it wasnt for the need of fire and lightning i could of just carried around 4, or well actully 2 the olny 2 i mainly used where buggies and sonic considering everything else was a pile of filthy crap through my eyes, Even getting a big daddy help sucked, For example i'd like to see a flood plasmid where glass breaks and water comes in.

More choices: In bioshock one you were either baby killer or baby lover, thats it. I wanan be able to choose like do i befrend this person, do i kill them, similar to fallout 3, like EVERY single desicion you made in fallout 3 changed the ending and there were like 15 diffrent endings thats what bioshock should have.

Longer game: Seriously 10 hours? Thats crap i want like a 15 hour game, im no saying they need to make it a 30 hour game but like 15-20 would be nice.

Diffrent ways of getting adam: Little girl thing is prolly the main way but why cant i use the slugs or get little adam jars around the place.

Mixing plasmids: Every plasmid in bioshock had just one specific use, I'd like you to be able to take like insect swarm, and mix it with fire to get flaming bee's and things like that, they should have a like speical station for that. Now i know you will be able to do in mid fight but i'd like to have a flaming bee hand already prepared.

What the hell happened to all the little girls in bioshock one?: Okay, so in the previews they said things like "Since jack harvested all the little sisters the splicers have gone crazy" What all the little sisters, he was olny in 12 areas of the city? Bull crap so your telling me there were olny 24 little sisters in the whole world? BS maybe the splicers where getting some of them but seriously?

Diffrent melle weapons: In bioshock one all you got was the wrench, In bioshock 2 all youll have is the drill and maybe some outher stuff but i want it to be like Condemed where you can pick up weapons as you wish.

Homemade weapons: There were some homeade weapons like the grenade launcher or crossbow but i was hoping to see molotovs and pipe bombs.

Throwing grenades from your hands: If you ever wanted to throw a grenade in bioshock you had to switch to your launcher, I wanna be able to be using the machine gun and then chuck a grenade.

Splicers with plasmids: You say everyone in the city was using plasmids, But then why do olny the houdinies use them, Plus, why olny ice and fire, I think like the lead heads should be able to throw like an electro bolt at you every now and again.

New enemis: There were olny 6 types of enemies in bioshock the big daddies and the splicers. Nothing else, Adleast give some more variety to the splicers

Live up to the story: Bioshock had one of the best plot twists ive ever seen in any move/game since scarface. I hope they make it just as good or even better

So what do you think bioshock 2 should have? Post your thoughts here, And make it serious please nothing stupid.

Multiplayer!

I demand multiplayer!

I want to steal little sisters from the enemy team as part of a game mode! I want to drill enemies with a drill and then feed their intestines to them! I want to spam plasmids unto the infidels on the other team!

Let me just say....I HATE THE IDEA OF BIOSHOCK 2! I found that game to be intellectually stimulating as well as awesome! We mite as well make this as painless as possible, things that SHOULD be done.

1. The sea should be hellah dangerous!!! The point of having the sea is it was made to be a barrier between the ignorant people above and the morrally depraved people below! Why have this barrier if you could just downright break it, its like having a wall between you and 15 homicidial rapists....do you really want to put a door there? I know the analogy previous was of poor taste, and choice, but the same idea still remains! The sea was mean't to act as a dead zone between Rapture and the Surface if you break the barrier you will soon break the distinction between the surface and Rapture because it feels they weren't completely isolated!

But if they are going to do that....make sure they have plasmids slip into the water mutating, sharks, Squids, a whale....etc!


2. The point of going into Rapture was knowing nothing about this place and wondering how it came to be! They did that in 1 game....Good for them, great experience! Truly they should stop it there in my opinion, you know what happened had fun etc! But if they are going to do a new game they better make it have a different feel, like say Gothic Gearhead, more dead deteriorating environments and DARKER story, the story wasn't dark enough...the lighting was *Snare Drum roll* I suggest they possibly make the story about the first Big Daddy trying to find his daughter in a 20 year past choatic environment (just an idea)....everything was explained, I don't know why...or how they could explain anything more without just providing backstory that isn't entirly nessesary to understanding Rapture! But if they are going to do it....please PLEASE! Make it a darker game storywise!

3. New Enemies...YES! To show the corruption of Rapture they have to provide the the enemies to be fantasys of Rapture to be corrupted.
Ex: Big Daddies= Techonological beauty
Little Sister= The Wonder of the Genome
Splicer= The union between man and modern day science

New enemies:
Little Daddies= Miget big daddies that were part of a failed sub-sect of the big Daddy techonlogy
Little brothers=A Failed little boy program where they originally tried to engieener this in boys...but there testosterone muddled up the Adam and caused it to make them crazy, even crazy to kill the big daddies.....I dunno just an idea
Mutants (See the concept art from Bioshock 1)- The result of 20-30 years of playing God!


I dunno I just don't want a sequal to a somewhat original game...same with Dead Space, but I kinda would like to see a sequal for that! If my reasons are dumb...which they kinda are just ignore them!

There is multiplayer, apparently, the only thing I know about it is that it won't be co-op.

Bioshock did have fairly non-linear gameplay. It wasn't to RPG-esque free exploration standards, but you definitely weren't following a set path, each level was open for you to explore as you progressed.

I think the idea is that the water sections are to be peaceful interludes between levels, personally I think it's a great idea. What would be awesome is if they integrated a Half Life-esque loading system, so that the next level loaded as you were progressing through the water sections? I dare to dream.

That is a very good point. Perhaps the others were already killed by Splicers, but I doubt it. I'm coming up blank here.

A Little Sister multi player mode, to go along with the prequel multiplayer already announced. Its simeple. Its, lets say, an 8 player mode. their is a team of 2 and a team of 6. The 6 player team is a group of splicers. Their job is to get as much ADAM as possible in a set number of rounds. The 2 player team is a Big Daddy and Little Sister. The Big Daddy has to escort the Little Sister to a dead body, just like in the single player. The Little Sister has to harvest it, but can use their syrenge as a melee weapon, as a piece of defense. If the Little Sister team hits the round limit, the round ends. But, if the Little Sister is harvested, it becomes a free-for-all, where the carrier has to escape with the ADAM. If he dies, someone else can pick up the ADAM.

Just a thought.

a gun that fires the little sisters needles so you could absorb the adam from splicers

I like the idea of no fights underwater. In bioshock, you could appreciate the beauty of rapture while you are fighting for your life, but these underwater segments will help you see the diversity of rapture. also, they could provide a less linear path through rapture, like as you fight in a structure, it collapses and opens a road underwater to go to the next segment.

I immensely enjoyed listening to the audio diaries, and i would enjoy more branching story lines. often I would be so paranoid about enemies that I would not notice my surroundings and miss visual representations of the story. For instance, I didn't notice Diana Mcclintocks corpse and I fail to see Suchong with the drill in his chest. If they could tone down the action for a little while, make it feel like you are in a safe place for more than 2 seconds, then you could really be motivated to explore, without having to constantly look over your shoulder

I'd be happy with a competent sequel. I did like the multiplayer idea metioned above. How about changeable suit parts with bonuses to damage, defense, adame collection, etc? How about a plasmid to brainwash splicers, so you can recruit an army? How about a plasmid that makes a wall, which could then be set on fire, filled with bees, or other stuff? How about different equipment depending on whether you decide to be good or evil? Functionally similar, but with slight differences? No, I'm afraid I don't like that last idea much, but the rest of them seem like good ideas.
