What would you like to see Nintendo do with it$ Money?

Why is it that, when a company is rolling in money, everyone think they should do something whit it, I men come on, Nintendo is the oldest, developer still making consoles, an after getting there ass handed to them in the last, generation it is good to see them finding a winning strategy. But they showed that they are committed to selling us the same thing over and over and over again, well it is are fault since we keep buying them. The Ds cool, the DS lithe ok, the DSi why Nintendo Why.

Oh wait a minute, I did not answer the question, and my answer is Nothing, nothing at all.

The motion plus should have been free. Naw actually it shouldn't exist to begin with. The wii mote should do what it is supposed to without the plus attatchment. And since it doesn't (I had one I know how well it doesn't work) they should have delayed launch until it does. Funny how the PS3 the bottom of the console war is the system with the least amount of flaws in the hardware dept.

Just goes to show, its not about the hardware, its about the software.

Ironically the reason the software isn't doing any good is because the hardware isn't being used to it's full potential.

The big question is WHY? Why isn't the potential being reached? Who do we blame for it? How do we fix it? C'mon Sony I have been waiting years for a good reason to buy a PS3 (MGS4 is not a reason for me). And I have no interest in a blu ray player for movies (dvd player works fine).

Well I was talking about the Wii when I said that. The biggest problem is just that third parties look at the Wii and see it to be something to not take seriously. So they just slap motion control on an idea without any thought put in.

Ya I just had to vent a bit of my Sony rage. It really applies to all of them. Although MS seems to have a better handle on it with thier we'll stock the shelves with a ton of games and hope there is a few gems mixed in. And odds are there will be. Nintendo used to have a quality assurance guarantee. See that gold sticker and you might have a great game. Although it may not be great to you on the technical front it was almost always good. Now they just don't seem to care what gets in thier system. Who cares if the wii mote is unresponsive. Who cares if you just substituted button mashing to mote waggling. Who cares if the game is boring and not fun to play.

firstly you mean "porting", not "importing", I know its not important but I felt you should know the difference young squire.
Secondly the same can be said about Sony, stop porting shitty PS1 games and toned down PS2 games for the PSP, you made an amazing original product with LocoRoco, carry on with such mojo Sony (LocoRoco fills my head with happy!).

My Nephew played locoroco alot, he has 3 PSP's (spoilt little shit he is), but he plays his DS more, doesn't that mean nintendo are doing something right?, I mean him and all his friends play DS, and his mother plays New Super Mario whenever she can.

I know my comment hasn't been constructive to the OP and I apologise to Super Smash Jesus, but it still stands, Nintendo are doing something right for everyone to be playing their underpowered games machines.

as a side note; Last year Nintendo made 1.6 million dollar profit per head, i'll find the links if you guys are interested in seeing more?, that means the profit they made divided by all the people they employ came to 1.6mil. its alot, its over 9000.

kill (or maybe just fire) the employees that insist on designing the same old titles with a new look and a higher number at the end or the crossover games that include some of their classic characters from different games fighting together against evil... I don't want to see Mario Party 36 (NOW WITH SAMUS!) or Mario & Luigi Crossing, or Super Smash Bros. : OMFG LETS ADD MORE OBSCURE CHARACTERS, or Animal Crossing Old folks home, or Legend of Zelda : Masked Ocarinas of Twilight, or Super Mario 18 : Princess Peach puts out!

Anyway, Nintendo should use their money however they see fit. Hopefully it'll go into paying more people for jobs, giving it to charity, or burn it in front of orphans with diseases.

A starfox sequel that isn't incredibly different, and is just basically SF:64 with more levels, cooler graphics, maybe more weapons, etc.

A metroid sequel that's 2D (love metroid prime but I'd like to see one of these.)

Make Madworld not suck (hopefully they are doing this currently.)

F-zero done well on the wii....

Make it so that the Wii gets something that lets it watch DVD's
HD support
No more Sonic games until Sega can pull its' collective head out of its' collective ass
Create a NEW (not a re-release) Jet Set Radio game
Good/Better Shooters
Fewer 'Wii' games/More third party games
Make a damn filter for what games get released/Less garbage on the Wii
Create a better Wi-Fi system/NO MORE FRIEND CODES
Give us cynics less to rant about

Splitting up in 2 factions. One working soley on the casual games, the other trying to win back their core crowd with stuff as a new 2d Metroid, a remake of Super Mario Bros 3.

More investing in good third party games.

At least some graphical update (not nesecarily HD, but still better then it is now)

Seriously, though, I'm pretty sure Nintendo has enough money to buy the moon, so giving them more is like adding more dirt to a pile a mile high. If they want to do something, they probably can.

On topic, I'd like to see them make the Wii not suck, perhaps giving it games that use an actual controller (That's why they came out with the the "Classic Controller", I think).
