What would you name a mon collecting series such as "Pokemon"
that name seems so perfect for it and I have an idea for my own series and have been rattling some ideas around but nothing seems to stick for a good name.
Also if you think you have a good a idea that would fit a mon series speak up, a monster, a character, a boss etc.

Im really tryin not to be that kinda series that uses japanese names and stuff even though its part of the inspiration. I kinda want it to be a more english thing cause we dont really have one as japan dominates when it comes to monster collecting series.

Hmm, dunno then. To be honest, I'm thinking of good game series, and it seems nonsensical, vaguely relevant game titles are better than ones relevant to the game's subject matter or even ones specifically meant to sound cool. So just make something up vaguely related to your setting and doesn't make any sense at all.

British-Mons!! have all british themed monsters like tea-cups and cucumber sandwhiches!!, make it a sureal fantasy world and it could kinda work, but you would have to go OTT or not at all, with insane british accents and mons from each of the 4 different cultures, say leek mons=wales, haggismons=scotland, teacupmons=england, shamrockmons=Ireland, with hundreds of different crazy stuff and heavily accented NPC's =]
