The only thing that kills the game for me is how OP void rays are. They do WAY too much damage (especially when charged), are available way too early in the tech tree, and are too cheap to build. Every n00b in the game thinks they are good because they can mass void rays. I hate playing low tier games because they only have one go-to unit.

If I could ask blizzard to fix one thing, it would be to fix this issue. At the very least, take away their ability to charge so they wont be so damn overpowering when you have 8+ on the field.

*** 1v1 it's easy to keep your opponent from getting their starport, but when you like play 3v3 and 4v4 like I do, its hard to stop multiple protoss from pumping out and massing n00b-rays

Does anyone agree with me, and if not, what would you patch?

Once you get beyond Bronze/Silver rushing Void Rays happens a lot less because it is so easy to stop if you scout it ahead of time.

I'm sad that they removed the Archon Toilet, that should be put back in for sure.

And thanks Blizzard for ruining high templars by taking away their starting energy and making us wait FOREVER to do a psionic storm... cant remember the last time I saw them used in the pro circuit.

All I see is complaining.

Archon toilet isn't dead. Just nerfed a little to reduce damage. It's still effective, and I've seen it happen

And Storms are still used all the time. Hell, I only watch one series of the latest TSL (it was HasuObs vs Kas) and HT's were in every single game!

And Void Ray's are not cheap. If you let them mass them, it's because you didn't attack enough.

This is like something off the Starcraft forums.........

You must not be watching many pro circuits then.

Force Fields are the bane of my existence, but I like where everything is right now. Wish Stim didn't take so long, but thats because I play Terran.

Void Rays are pretty easy to deal with depending who you play. As Terran, long as I scout it and mass marines and get 1-2 vikings, I am good.

1st scout it out most important thing. 2nd if you are a terran player getting a few missile turrets halts harassment for quite a bit and going mass marines and being very aggressive will surely be a victory for you

Eh, I'd patch in a giant-ass warning when ppl are about to get on the ladder for the first time.
"THE SPEED THIS GAME IS PLAYED IN IS 40% FASTER THAN REAL TIME"

or somesuch.

'cos I still run across people who think "40 second build time" is actually 40 seconds.

nerf the damage of battlecruiser and add lan. The yamato is a personal gripe because no matter much i rush terran players always tech up to them extremely fast and then just get about 100 and spam me with yamato cannons.

I think the whole game needs a lot of changes myself. Currently there is far too much emphasis on macro and hard counters. Numbers win most encounters. I think a lot of units need major rebalancing or removal altogether. Thors and Colossus stick out. Tier 1 needs rebalancing, especially Terran. I'd remove concussive shells from Marauders.
Honestly, its a looong list. Of course, thats why I just play BW. I am sure most SC2 fans won't agree with me if they were never avid fans of BW.

Now I'm depressed thinking about it. I think I'll go play some Starcraft to cheer up.

I'm top 8 Silver so I'm kind of a n00b and apparently thats the only build people can do in bronze and silver

Yeah, seriously. Fuck forcefields. As a Terran player, they make me rage so hard, you can go in there with a larger force than the 'Toss you are fighting, and they can endlessly keep you at bay if they have enough sentries at the ramp.
