You do know that there's a slight difference between religion and certain religious people... Right. Especially if we're talking about religious nutters from the 16th/17th century.

So, you're going to discredit the whole system of the CHURCH, who pretty much ran EVERYTHING back then? Religion is religion, the people that ran the church back then are the same kinda people that run the church now, the whole system's been in place since the 16th/17th century.

And the church itself, and the vatican are "Certain religious people"????
Last time I was forced into a church by my grandparents, they were ALLOT of "certain religious people". NO one in the whole of religion wants to take the responsibility of being "the ones" or even admitting that they were associating with "the ones" that locked our SCIENTISTS up, never mind the fact that your so called crusades were famous for killing people who didn't believe, sound familiar?? And were good for killing more people that either of the world wars (possibly combined)

I'd remove every off-topic religious debate that has ever started on this forum!!! Seriously, guys, there are threads for that. This isn't it.

Beyond that, I'd remove clocks and engines and nuclear powerplants. But I'd leave electricity, since hospitals need it. In my mind, this would create a wonderful world with less polution and people running about being frantic and late. In reality, it would probably create mass confusion and panic.
