What would you replace the Taliban with in Medal of Honor?

If you really want to be PC, go for the COD OpFor, even the US army calls training sim enemy's OpFor. But truly, its a freaking game. Even in MW2 with the No russia level,there is NEVER any prompt to shoot civillians in the airport, yet when people played the game for the first time, almost all shot them anyway. why? its because we are naturally interested in violence, blood and gore. its a primeval thing, we cant escape it.
Playing as terrorists, the taliban or fucking martian invaders doesn't make me want to go out oand shoot someone, and any time a FPS game has caused someone to go out shooting people, its because they were sick in the head anyway, so it woud have happened sooner or later.
So basically, stop bleating about killing digital people and start finding all the terrorists, rapists, pedofiles, kidnappers, burgulars, thieves and thugs, and locking all them up instead!

I'd replace them with nazis. I mean I've been fighting them in every medal of honor game anyways, so why not desert nazis.
Don't get me wrong, I believe the controversy is sort of nonsense. But with that said, couldn't this be easily resolved by making you and whoever your team is look like 'the good guys', no matter which side your own? Sort of like how in team fortress a spy looks like one of the other teams' team but to you it looks like one of your spies running around with a mask? Get what I'm saying? Poof. No one gets to empathize with 'the bad guys'. The western world is finally safe again from some shitty videogame!
The only protected group that gets peoples' panties in a bunch more than muslims is homosexuals... replace taliban with homosexuals and you have a game.

Hmmm. I guess since the Metal of Honor series has always been about realism, and the other team is modern American military forces, there are two options, aliens or time-travelling Nazis. I'm being completely serious here.
