Calling someone a nerd because of video games is only a viable "insult" in the 90's early 2000. Today its just something common.

There was this girl i went to church with once, and I mentioned something about playing WoW while we were eating lunch. She turns to me and goes "O so your one of those Nerds!?" and laughs about it.

So I asked her, "Well what do you do in your spare time?" and she answers back with "Well...I basically go on Facebook all day, and...i dont know, watch House."

I laughed so hard, and told her "So you think WoW is more nerdy than facebook and House? Im sorry your my friend and all, but sometimes you just say things like a fucking dickhead."

I mean we were both basically just messing with each other, but she really did think What she was doing was so much "Cooler".
