If the guy was shaking liek you said, I somehow doubt him holding a knife would have done much better.

Anyway, OT, I would have said something like "The opposite of what i want to be when i grow up" or "What my life would be like if I made some really shitty decisions" or something like that.

...But then again... I've never been one to shy away froma fight if someone wants to start one.

Alright, so today I was walking to the bus stop, the guy already there was smoking (illegal to do so near a bus stop), spitting every 10 seconds and was shaking like a fucking wind up toy. So I figure this guy got shitfaced on something and his body was making him pay for it. Anyways, when I got to the bus stop we make eye contact, he had the dumbest look on his face, blank expression, mouth agape and wide eyed, he stares at me, I stare back at him and he says in an agressive tone, "What the fuck are you looking at?". He said it in a way that really made me want to punch him in his fucking mouth, but I ignored him and went into the stall, I figure getting into a fight before school was a dumb idea. Besides he could have a knife on him, what happened to the days when kids beat the shit out of one another with their fists in fights, not try to kill one another with knives and guns?

So what would you want to say/do to an asshole like this who said that exact sentance to you? I would probably say something along the lines of "an asshole who should know better than to pick fights with random people on the street". Also this guy is about my age which is 16, a few inches taller than me which is 6 feet and rather thin. So I figure if he made a big deal out of it I could take him in a fist fight.
Yeah, I'm originally from NJ. I remember the first time I went down to Virginia (for school) I was walking around the campus, and everyone was just fucking staring at me. It creeped me the fuck out. At first I was like, "Alright, all these girls are checking me out!", but then I realized it was just anyone I walked past who wasn't engaged in a conversation or something else.

See, in NJ if you try and pull that shit, people will say shit to you. If you're in Newark or Trenton, you might not even get a warning.

The point is, your "friend" there was obviously not having a great day and was probably self conscious about how fucked up he looked.

"Staredowns" are never any ONE person's fault, but you should have just looked away anyway.

EDIT:

My other 2 friends from Jersey still agree with me about the staring thing, but all the friends I met in Virginia think I'm just crazy, lol.

I probably wouldn't stare at him in the first place.

And by the way,

Quote: "Also agreed. I think this world would have a lot less problems if we could just beat the shit out of people we didn't like without having to worry that they pull a knife or gun on you OR getting 5 or 6 people against you. Im all in favor of a fist fight where the loser gets the shit kicked out of him by 5 or 6 people and then hung up on a flag pole by his underwear. But the fight itself should be equal. you know, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, max 12v12. If you want to go 13v13 screw it leave someone out from both sides."

Plus anything over 12 v 12 causes too much lag and becomes unplayable after that.
You can quote someone's post by hitting the "Quote" button at the bottom right side of the post you want to quote, or you can use quote tags.

"Your eyes. Has anyone ever told you you have the most beautiful eyes."

Something along those lines. Just kinda mess with him. If it ends in a fight, whatever, dude seemed like he was on something you could just say he started it.

I usually yawn, crack my neck, settle into a more imposing posture and ignore the dude.

I do this to all the people that yell derogatory crap to me while I'm walking though the city.

If I could say anything w/o facing the consequences, Id say, "nothing worthwhile."

However, if I were still in high school I would have been too tired to care or notice the guy in the first place.

Call me kooky, call me crazy, but some strung-out sixteen year old doesn't seem like much of a threat, especially when I'm armed (as I usually am).
Something like 80% of weapons get used on the original owner in a street fight. But I suppose that's a very rough average.

I would Just say "You" or "Some freak(or guy) who's staring at me"

Read the original post, it states "What would you want to say/do to this asshole if he said the same exact sentance in the same manner to you?"

Are switchblades even legal where you live?
OT: I would probably give him a dirty look or mutter 'dumbass' under my breath. I'm not very imaginative.

Yeah, actually. I'd take the AK or the Barret, but that tends to frighten people within city limits.

In my dreams I would say something that sounded like a compliment/apology but was a complete put down.
In real life it just isn't worth the time/trouble. I am not sure I could have kept myself from commenting on the cigarette stench, I would have walked away gagging and plugging my nose regardless. Maybe it would motivate me to finish that stupid conceal carry form I have put off for years...
