What would you take with you?

Ok, so there are a ton of threads here about the zompocalypse. What's your plan, your weapon, what type you like, etc, etc. Hopefully this is a bit different.

In almost every major catastrophe in fiction, games, movies, what have you, there is inevitably that scene where the big tough guy yells, "Take only what you need!" Now, as sound of advice as that is, I always think, "But...I want to take something I want to, too." So my question I pose to you all is this. In the event of an apocalyptic event, zompocalypse, whale-takeover, whatever...What would you take? What's that one item you think, "screw it, it's not needed but I'm taking it anyway".

Personally, I have two answers. One is a shellcasing from my grandfather's 21-gun salute at his funeral. It's just the one thing I couldn't bear to leave behind for some reason.
Second would have to be my knife roll. I know they could be construed as weapons if need be, but my knives are coming with me, no matter what, end of story.

So what's yours?

I would take the Sword of Shannara trilogy with me. Its my all time favourite book and i would not dare be without it. It provides me much comfort and happiness

I'd grab a bag, stuff it with any food that i could find, rummage through the bin to find any empty bottles or containers and fill them with water, grab every lighter in my house, knives from the kitchen and the big stick that's beneath my bed lol. clothing would also be essential along with a first aid kit. I'd like to say I'd grab a gun n a sleeping bag, but i lack both so I'd prolly end up getting murdered or freezing to death.
