What would -you- want to do on your 21st birthday?

... if I could relive mine, I'd want to go have a fancy dinner at the Space Needle in Seattle, dressed and pressed, and have a gift brought to me from my spouse, have a big deal made of it, and blush and flush in front of all. Heck, what about going out on an Airplane ride around an area you've never been to, or doing something you thought was fun and risky but not life-threatening risky?

I'll be having my 21st later this year

to be honest...I dont want to do anything...generally most peopel i know have a big party, but sadly I wouldnt have anyone to invite (more or less) then theres my twin brother (who would also be having the 21st) who has more freinds than me...all his freinds are in melbourne (other side of the country) so he couldnt exactally invite them eather...

...I think we might get a trip somwhere...to melbourne mabye

Put on a waistcoat and my best shirt, shaved a horseshoe mustache into my face, Got all my friends to join me in london where I live, we all hung out in front of the london eye drinking champagne and cider, I smoked a large cigar which I didn't enjoy but made me feel like a fancy man, we then went on a pub crawl, stopping at all my favourite bars that I could remember, Went to a casino with friends, got very drunk on all the cocktails i could think of, got thrown out, Shouted at the bouncer that it was my Birthday, Went to another casino, lost a hundred pounds my parents gave me for my birthday,ordered all the tequila i could still afford, my friends accidentally got in a ruckus with a chinese escort and several elderly businessmen, we all went and hung out somewhere (this is mainly white noise in my head), I nearly got the crap kicked out of me on the bus home, we found some giant writing somewhere and I climbed into the "B", then we kept drinking and I woke up feeling like I had spent the night in the 7th circle of hell.

It was a most excellent night.

I don't have much to say about being drunk on your birthday other than it's something that everyone else does on theirs and it's something that I really think shouldn't be shared as "initiation" into becoming 21 and all. Maybe it's me being old fashioned or maybe it's the fact that creativity and remembering your past has lost more respect - but these days and age I just think it's more important for people to not conform like everyone else and fall into drinking alcohol. I kinda think people should break from that norm.

I turn 21 next May.

Well the first thing I'm going to do is buy alcohol simply because I can.
What I'd like to do is get shitfaced drunk and play a ska show.

What I'll probably do is spend the entire day with my family and not drink much at all.

Exciting stuff, I know.
