An Australian Jaeger would look like Ned Kelly, who basically wore a rubbish bin for a helmet. It looks like full plate armour, but made with things lying around a blacksmith's work area. The pilot(s) looks like him. The resemblance is eerie. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_Kelly#Steele.27s_description

Damn, I want to write a parody/fan fic now. MUST. NOT. DO.

There was an Australian one in the movie, right?

Either way, ours would be very simple. When we do mechanical things, we tend to go for a strange mixture of overboard and understated.
So ours would be a little bit smaller than the murrikans and look slightly more gentle, but it'd also be running dual nuclear reactors with a backup system, likely in the form of a 1000kw V8. No rocket propelled fists, in exchange for the laser stolen off a YAL-1 and a US Navy railgun.

For budget reasons, it would be sponsored. It would be painted with a huge VB singlet on it and the V8 would be exposed with some 'V8 Supercars' and 'Supercheap Auto' advertising around it.

Since Ukraine and Russia have a lot of history together, I'd say Ukrainian one will be a lot like Russian one: Huge, slow, powerful and heavy-armored.

It would powered by pork, bacon, salo, basically anything that came from pig. Or other fatty meat dishes.

It will also have a Sabre for it's melee weapon.

Also, when drunk, pilots will have better aim, synchronization and Jaeger itself will get twice as much speed and trice as much power (because part of Ukrainian Cossack training was learning to have great aim and control of weapons and horses while intoxicated).

I would like to make a Japanese Jaeger as no one seems to talking about one (i'm not Japanese but it's a fun thought experiment)

Chassis: standard Gundam shape but with a flight system capable of outmaneuvering Kaiju
Weapons: Arms will be equipped with Radiant Wave cannons as this is exhibited to damage even Category 5 Kaiju skin.

In addition, shield gauntlets will also be attached to the arms each with high frequency radiation infused blades (reference picture below)

Final weapon system will be remote drone system designed to pinpoint and disable/destroy vital joints and organs (reference picture below)

Final system analysis: increased survival against Category 5 Kaiju and able to stand ground against multiple targets better, eliminating casualties like Crimson Typhoon and Cherno Alpha

Obviously the U.S Already had Gipsey Danger so...I'll just go with a Jaeger made by my own state (Utah).

Which I have to admit would probably just be a huge Mormon Temple-tron.

Moroni lasers power up!
Golden Tablet Shields to full!

For Poland, I wanted to say "big-ass hussar wings", like so:

...but this guy has the right idea:

Poland already had one decades ago:

Ain't it awesome?
... come to think of it, it would probably follow in the footsteps of Brazilian and Argentinian jaegers. The government would outtsource the development to a private company run by the PM's mother-in-law, pay them about 3 times as much as it should cost, then focus on distracting the public with shiny lights, as the final product would be 2 years late and made of papier-mache.

We already officially have Striker Eureka, but I like to think an Australian Jaeger would be of medium size, balancing armour and mobility, modelled after Ned Kelly and shoot grenades.

I'll be honest... I'm having extreme difficulty imagining an Irish Jaeger. Even if it was culturally insensitive with Shamrocks and coloured emerald green, it would still be far too badass for me to imagine.

A Jaeger? This is México, we would have a giant piñata instead of a Jaeger.

Isn't there a poster with the Aus one?

Other then that, I shall design my own!

And done.
I think it fits perfectly with myself and Australia.

A better question would be: What would your country's Mobile Fighter Gundam look like?
In Holland's case, it's a giant Windmill:

Kudos to Pacific Rim for not going that route...
Heh, at least Neo Holland was smart enough to mass produce those fuckers. If my country would make a Jeager like that, I'd be all for it. :D

I'll go first, of course: Germany, specifically Northrhine-Westphalia, Europe's most dense population centre.
I would have expected a giant gothic armoured knight wielding a flamberage. Quite slow and plodding with its footwork but with solid grounding and powerful downward strike.
THAT would be awesome, too! I love how you can take the stereotypes of every century and make a Jaeger out of it. So, gigantic teutonic knight? Hell yeah. Clad in black, white and awesome. Big, stylized eage carved into the chest. I am liking this thread.

I like the idea of an emerald green Irish Jäger. No weapons, just gigantic fists to punch shit with and a big speaker in the mouth, so the drunk pilots can throw slurred insults at the Kaiju.

Ok a British Jeager has already been mention but I would imagine a Britain made Jeager to have a Britannia/ Royal feel to it and aswell a Harrier and Spitfire fusion design to it. The overall colour would be the military green (purple would be too royal).

Aren't those foot things clogs? That what I got from their shape anyway, maybe they should've painted them yellow...

My country's Jaeger would look like Wolverine because it WOULD be Wolverine BECAUSE WE HAVE WOLVERINE!

All you need is Wolverine.
