As it was my gamer tag years ago for a Bf2 clan
and it was the name that was suggested from a friend of mine for what A.Solo's sith name should be (needless to say it didn't win)

Despite what certain interpretations would have it, I've always seen the devil as more of a minor celestial janitor that hates his job enough to pick on (tempt) his potential charges. After all, misery loves company.
