What would your world be?

I'd want a world where everyone can choose to ignore pain, as if pain perception was an internal switch we could flip on and off.

I'd say we should never feel pain, but that could be bad, because then it would be virtually impossible to tell if you're injured.

Get robotic contacts that tell you when you should be feeling pain.

That could get annoying at times. Like, if you decide to go skateboarding or something like that one day, and you get paged 50 times by a robot saying "CAREFUL, YOU MAY BE INJURED."

I would have a highly trained group of operatives specializing in using silenced revolvers and whips in combination moves like gripping the gun with the whip, whipping it out of your holster, then whipping it so it shoots around corners which your are 1 metre+ away from.
