What you like about yourself

So I?ve noticed a lot of threads where people talk about their relationship issues, girl (and sometimes boy) troubles, and how they don?t like themselves. And I think that?s kinda bleak. And the funny thing is, I was just the same for a really long time, until I started talking to a councillor, now I?m a metric fuck ton happier! See I always thought that I was a weirdo who no girl would want to listen or talk to, but that?s not true. I had got this because some people I thought were my friends thought this was weird or some kind of secret shame. And it?s not freaking true. By the way, I?m talking about nerdy things like comics, movies, games etc. And since I realised its not something to keep to my self or be ashamed of, I?m much happier and find it way easier to talk to girls (not about this right off the bat mind, its more, I now like myself more).

So in this thread, tell everyone what you like, why and what about your self you like.

I think I can draw pretty damn well. Pus I like to look for ?meaning? in everything I watch (though that?s because I used to do film studies xD)

GO ON!

Edit: Just a side note, the whole "nothing to offer" part is about relationships, of which I have never had, which is the one thing that can get to me, but hey, nothings gonna happen if I dont make it!

I'm a pretty nice person and I like to think I'm funny, I'm probably not but this is about self-perception. I don't think of myself as stupid..

Physically, I like my eyes and the various incarnations of my hair. Also, I like my... Chest area. Not comically large but not tiny either, it looks flattering in clothes and whatnot.

My skin.

As do other people who have felt it. The amount of massages I've had in my life for free...

I've managed to get much further in life than most people my age, even when I've been half-assing it & hallucinating for most of the time.

I've also written a program that helps people revise for exams, and it's actually getting a few users, which makes me incredibly happy.

I suppose I'm fairly affable, I reckon I dress in a fairly spiffy style given the opportunity and I have content between my ears... guess that counts.

Hm. I suppose I might as well counterbalance my general routine of harrowing self-criticism with a brief spell of vanity. I enjoy my cynicism, my humour, my intelligence (in certain areas, anyway), that kind of thing. Oh, and I guess I'm pretty open-minded, which is certainly a valuable asset in this world.

Being honest with myself (my don't give a danm attitude). What I mean is I won't do things that isn't me (like geling my hair everday just to get some attention) or to lied to myself just to impress someone.
Sure I'm abit antisocial and don't get out alot but hey I just being myself and I don't hate my traits (people should like the way I am not changing myself to get someone to like me).

I like that I'm kind and honest, I like being myself, I like being somewhat open-minded, I like being different, I like not caring what others think about me, I really don't mind my cynicism and negativity, and I like my interests very much - taste in games, movies, books, anime, music etc.

Is it pathetic that I like my manchild-nerdrage stereotype neckbeard because I fit none of the cliches people associate them with? Other than that I got nothing. Save for my wit.

I think for myself and I form my own opinions.

The fact that I love nu metal supports this.

Hmmmmm, well I'm relatively intelligent, academically at least. I think what I like most about myself though is my personal attitude towards life and everything it holds. I call it optimistic apathy, it basically goes, "We're going to try our best and if we fuck up then we're just going to try harder." As long as I have my freedom then I'm not really bothered by most of the consequences of my actions.

For personality, I like everything about myself.

Physically...well, I like my hair...sometimes.

Hmmmmmmmmmm being a arrogant, cynical narcissist doesn't leave much space for self loathing so.... Everything?

*EDIT* To be fair it does bring a hefty dose of misanthropy but hey.

I have a pretty nice singing voice, and many females have told me my curly hair is just absolutely beautiful. Also, I've got an incredibly diverse taste in music, so I can talk to most people about most genres.

That certainly does make you an independent thinker.

I kid.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound pretentious. I was just implying that a lot of people hate nu metal, and that I'm not afraid to admit I like it.
