What you would do to the guy who made the Shao Khan fight

i just spammed lightning.not sure how it holds up in higher levels of difficulty though cause i had my difficulty on easy for that fight cause I didn't feel like repeating the fight over and over again for hours until i got a lucky win. I don't mind the balancing what I do hate is that they took away the ability to use grabs, which on a character who i suck at using like Raiden is a huge pain. That and the ineffectiveness of uppercuts.

Play against Dead or Alive 4's boss, then Shao Kahn wont be so bad. Kahn has the 53% health X-Ray, but thats once a match MAYBE and its avoidable. The boss in DOA4 has 40% attacks that she will use 10 times a round.

I would wait for him to taunt then teleport and use the flying charge attack.

Shao Kahn is a ***** and always has been. He's even more annoying now with that little impact/stun immunity crap he has.

Usually spamming projectiles while ducking his energy spear throws works. Try to keep him far away so he'll be more likely to taunt you.

As to who is responsible for that fight being what it is, I'd like to tell the guy he's an idiot and fails at being creative. Overpowered rule breaking enemies isn't a smart way to make something challenging. Once he took about 80% of health before I could even make controller input. He literally spammed the hammer throw, endlessly stunning me.

I found this fight to be very challenging. Essentially, you want to stay away from him except when he laughs or taunts, then teleport or jump in and uppercut/flying kick. You can try to do other stuff too but it is very risky. Example, Teleport in after he throws a hammer and uppercut, but he might immune the knockdown. But a lot of the time it does work. Basically, you need to be careful and methodical.

EDIT : What I would do to the guy who made the Shao Kahn fight....

Ask him for a job.

Nothing at all. Kahn was a pushover. Scorpion doesn't even have an effectively spammable ranged attack other than his spear, which brings Kahn right to him...and I still got a flawless victory. .__. Though I must say hilarity ensued while watching him backflip across his arena. xD

Liu Kang: Fireball, fireball, fireball, flying dragon kick, fireball, bicycle kick, fireball...
Raiden: Thunderbolt, thunderbolt, thunderbolt, thunderbolt...

Ladder:
Sub-Zero: Iceball, iceball, iceball, iceball...
Smoke: Teleport, teleport, teleport, teleport...
Scorpion: Spear, Teleport, Doom Blade(x-ray if bar is full), rinse and repeat...

Its a tough one, but there is a way.
Wait for him to use an attack such as the hammer or the spear (Or wait until he's taunting you) and then teleport behind him and do a quick combo or special attack. Wash, rinse, repeat ad nausium!

Now this is a fight I can win!

Shao Khan isn't difficult, just use any of the mentioned strategies above and you automatically win.

wait, challenge 300 is 3 shao khans in a row? Mileena's third costume is hardly worth that.

well, I'm a bit disappointed in myself. I had to change the difficulty down to Beginner to beat him.

I kept using projectiles on him and teleporting.

As for what I would do to the guy...........well let's just say that it would take a very long time for it to be over and leave it at that.
